Over the course of 9 months, I've gotten a lot better at fighting. I've figured out how to fight in the air better, and I've taught myself how to use ambush tactics as well thanks to Halakrah, and Rodan helped me to learn a lot about the history of Kaiju. It was sometime during the winter, but my body still felt weak. I felt like I had much to gain, and then I realised my metamorphosis was never truly completed.
I remembered because those parasites always brought in more radioactive waste than I needed. . . They stunted my growth by overfeeding me!
Now I don't even know if I can fully metamorphose(AN: Is this even grammatically correct?). . . Maybe if I just go back into a cocoon and cook properly this time. . . Wait, what about Halakrah and Rodan? I'll have to tell them both as well.
I chose to fly upwards towards Rodan's Volcano to tell her about it. When she saw me, she instantly flew up and tackle hugged me midair, causing us both to crash into the side of her volcano. . .
"Hey Neo, needed something?" She asked eagerly.
Am I positive this is the same Titaness that was ready to kill me way back then?
"No, I just wanted to tell you about something. Something important"
"What is it? You can tell me anything Neo"
I took a little breath and stood up. I had looked her in her eyes and finally told her about it.
"I still need to go through my metamorphosis. Somewhere along the line I was prematurely taken out of my cocoon. I just came here to tell you about it because I don't know when I will break out of it, or if I even will. . . All I'm saying is, don't expect me to be flying around tomorrow. Up to the time you and Hala sleep, I'll be here, but by the time you wake up, I'll have been back inside of my cocoon"
Rodan seemed stunned and a little sad. She brought me to another hug and I felt her warmth yet again, but this wasn't the same kind as when we first met. This was the hug of a friend who wanted the best for her comrade. I returned the embrace and flew upwards, flying towards the island the Skullcrawlers called home. I don't even think they gave it a name either. . .
Once I landed, I was swarmed by many juveniles that had different food to give to me. I was confused until I noticed Hala in the distance, shouting out for her.
"Hala! What's going on?!"
She turned towards me and sprinted, hugging me tightly with her arms and coiling around me with her tail.
"Master is changing. Master need many much food!"
She knew already? Since when? I guess she really is full of surprises.
"How did you know?"
Hala had replied with her species variant of a smile. "Master still young. Master need change. Master need grow!"
"Huh, so you've known this whole time?"
She just nodded, still hugging onto me. My smaller forelimbs would hold her back while I nuzzled her softly. Many would say that she has a crush on me, but I'm not so sure. We're also two different species, so that wouldn't work anyways.
The night passed, and the Skullcrawlers brought a lot of food to the main cost, Rodan also brought a few magma sharks and squids. They resembles their oceanic counterparts, but had a little more radiation and spice. Personally, I like the squids. I had gone into the ocean and grabbed many different sealife. Namely, blue whales, whale sharks, and giant squids.
We all had a giant feast the night and as I looked at them, I wondered if this would all stay when I woke up. . . When I break out of my cocoon, how much more would I change. I already look like my father, so what more is there? Would I change in personality as well?
