Ch. 7: Getting Personal (🍋)

Shin Muto was being webbed down by Mothra, and getting Fireballs shit at him. He would roar out in pain repeatedly and shoot out a purple flame at them, attempting to get them away from him. Godzilla eventually got up and charged up his atomic breath, shooting it at Shin. It was noticeable weaker, mostly due to the EMP that NeoMuto hit him with earlier.

"What have you done with Neo!?" Rodan shouted at the beast in Neo's flesh.

"He's still here, just not in control. This is my body now, and he will watch as I kill all of you, and then destroy this world, making it my own!"

Godzilla slammed his tail into Shin, sending him to the floor, blasting him with his atomic breath to keep him down. Some of his dorsal fins broke off, causing him to roar in pain. His dorsal plates begun to glow violet again, and several purple beams shot out from his back, striking Godzilla and Rodan, making them fall back with many more wounds than earlier.

Mothra, who was still without one of her wings, glowed brightly again, blinding Shin for a second before stabbing him in the chest, only to get a hand wrapped around her throat. She saw his mouth open, and a bright purple glow begin to form. Godzilla looked in fear, not wanting to lose his ally. He charged up his atomic breath and was going to attack him, but got slapped by Shin's tail, which then wrapped around his throat, slowly strangling him.

"M-Mothra" Godzilla said weakly.

"It's fine Godzilla, I'll come back soon. It may take time, but I will return,  I promise" Mothra said with a weak smile.

Shin was almost ready to unleash the atomic breath, but then shot it upwards. When it stopped, he dropped both Godzilla and Mothra, holding his head in pain.

"Stay down, Neo! You won't win, so stop resisting!"

He let out another roar, this time, it sounded like two trying to fight for dominance. Shin slammed his fist into the floor, causing a pulse of electromagnetic energy, but different from his normal one. This time it sent them all flying back. Shin held his head and curled up into a ball, hi wings spread widely just before he kicks himself upwards, launching himself into the sky.

Eventually, he fell back down to Earth, crashing painfully so onto the Earth's surface with a wave of purple energy following suit. The Muto was unconcious, and it seems that Godzilla and Mothra were spared today.

Halakrah, who had just finished patching up her major wounds, saw Neo, and began to drag him back to their home.

NeoMuto woke up, back in the white void. He looked around for that man again. Where are you, I have questions!?

He would have no reply. Suddenly, he is struck from the back by a powerful blast, shooting him forwards and onto the floor.

"Ouch!? Piece of shit!"

Neo stood up and faced the creature and witnessed himself, but with his skin being pale and his dorsal fins purple. He went to grab Neo by the throat and was met with a powerful punch to the gut, winding the strange dopplegänger.

"I take it that you're Shin? What do you even want from me?" Neo asked the mirror of himself.

Shin didn't reply, but rather sent out many Gravity Beams towards Neo. Seeing this, he flew upwards and started to evade them quite easily. He charged up his fist with electromagnetic energy again and charged at Shin, landing another punch to his face, sending Shin to the floor face first. Neo then grabbed him by the tail and slammed him on his back, breaking some of the dorsal plates, and sending out a supersonic screech, breaking off the rest of his plates. Leaking much radiation and blood, Shin collapsed to the floor and smirks, along with giving a small chuckle.
