The rain has been falling for three days and Eros was showing her basic moves inside. Her body hurt but she wasn't a quitter. If anything she was more motivated.
She won't be a weak female in a strange world.
She drop on the bed, her chest rising and falling heavily.
"How did I do?"
"You were great for a beginner."
Eros put away the blades and sit beside her.
"You'll be as good as me in no time."
"Showoff."
He chuckle and pull her up.
"You need to eat."
"Do I have to?"
"Yes."
He reach over to the table and take up the plate. She eat slowly with a pout on her face.
She soon pass the plate to him and he ate what's left.
Novel crawl under the covers and snuggle up in the blankets.
"I'll be right back."
Eros walk out of the house and Novel sprawl out on the bed.
She yelp when she felt a shock. She jump up and stare at the bed and then at her hand.
What the hell just happened? That shit hurt.
When the tingling feeling pass she start to think deep. There's alot of ways she was shocked out of no where.
She walk to the door and step out. She look up at the sky and then she felt the hairs of her hands start to stand up.
Lightening.
She went back inside just as a bolt hit where she was standing.
Shocked, she stare at the black ground. This can't be good.
She ran outside and to the house at the far side of the village. She push the door open and step in.
"Novel. I thought you were in bed."
"Well I was until I almost die."
"What? What happened?"
"No matter what, do not go outside. A lightning storm is coming in."
"How?" Eros look at her to see is she wad joking. "You're serious."
A bolt hit outside the door making her jump back.
"I nerd something dry. Get dry."
"Here we have clothes." Novel ran to the woman and didn't care who was watching. She strip and put on the dry clothes.
"How long will it last?"
"I don't know." The hair on the Eros head stand up and so did a few hours.
"Why is this happening?"
"The electricity in the air."
The ground shock as bolts of lightening hit outside. Eros kept a tight hold on her as people huddle in a group.
It was like a earthquake. The house was starting to fall apart.
The quakes starter to get smaller as the storm pass on by. Novel has never seen a lightening storm like this one before. She saw small ones but this one didn't come to play.
She held up her hand as the hair started to fall back down on her hand. Eros hair went down and she let out a breath of relief.
"Did it pass?"some asked.
"Yes but we can't go outside. You'll die if you do. We just sit and wait for the rain to cool the atmosphere down a bit."
