Back in her world
"Yes!"
Jen and Aria hug and they dance around. Footsteps come down the stairs and Mr. and Mrs. Grey came through the door.
"What happened?"
"We did it! Don't come too close. We reverse what Novel did and now we just wait. We're are confident that it will work."
They step back through the door and Jen type away on the tablet.
The machine whirl and blue light filled the room.
"Come on don't let me down."
"80%...90%...100%. This is the moment of truth."
They take cover behind the door and keep their fingers cross.
They waited in anticipation and have to shield their eyes as the light was blinding. They wouldn't be surprised if the house went dark after all the electricity that was being used.
The light slowly fade and they have to blink to clear the dots before their eyes.
Aria was the first to notice Novel...and someone else.
They run back into the room and they stare at the man with Novel.
"Am I the only one seeing this?"Mr. Grey asked.
"Nope. Either that or were all going crazy but I'm sure that's a giant man laying with Novel."
Mr. Grey kneel and turn the man on his back. His hand was clasp with Novel which tell them both have been in the same place when Novel got pulled back.
Novel groaned.
"Novel dear. Sweetheart can you hear me?"
"Ah? Dad?" Her eyes popped open and she sit up only to clutch her head. "Ow."
"Hey Sweetheart. You're OK."
"What happened?"
"You're back home."
Her eyes widen and she look around.
"No. Eros wake up."
"You know him?"
"It's a long story. Eros wake up."
The large man groans and Novel was relieved.
"Eros open your eyes."
"My head hurt,"he grumbled.
"I know." He open his eyes and smile when he saw her.
"What happened?"
"I'm home and you got pulled in with me."
He sit up slowly and his eyes land on Novel's dad. He was bigger than the man.
"Your dad?"
"This is my dad and my mom is behind him. Those are my Aria and Jen bestfriends."
"I'm stuck here aren't I?"
"Yes,"Aria said. Aria look at all the blue print that has been burnt to a crisp along with what's left of the machine.
Eros stood up only to hit his head on the over head fan.
"Well I didn't release my house would be so small. Everyone meet Eros. You can call him my boyfriend or whatever."
"He's a giant,"Mr. Grey said.
"Not going to argue there. Its good to be home."
"Let's go upstairs. The smell is getting to me."
Everyone agreed and make their way upstairs.
Eros eyes widen at the sight.
"You live here?"
"Yep. My entire life. Its going to be OK Eros. My family are wonderful people. Except my sister." That last part leave a sour taste in her mouth.
She really hope she wasn't around here.
