One Years Later
Eros open the door and step inside.
"Eros is that's you?"
"I'm home." He hang up his coat and head upstairs. "Are you painting?"
"I got bored."
He enter the nursery to see her sitting cross legged on the floor.
"What did I tell you about working?"
"Eros I'm pregnant not crippled. How was work?"
"Same as usual." He kiss her before looking around. "Nathan left me in charge while he head out of the country. It was last minute. You did good here. I thought you would go blue."
"I hate the colours they have so I went with peach. Its cooler than the blue in my opinion."
"I like the peach."
"Help me up." He lift her on her feet and she rub her back.
"No more working. I'm home tomorrow so I'll finish everything else."
"Good idea." She rub her back.
She was seven months pregnant and let's just say it's not easy. Eros keep scolding her for working when she's so far into her pregnancy but she can't just sit not do anything.
He pick her up like she wasn't carrying and entire human and walk out of the room.
"Have you eaten?"
"I've been eating all day. I live in the kitchen and in the bathroom."
"Two more months and this little man will be out."
He set her on the bed and remove her shoes. She wiggle her toes and fell back on the bed.
Eros enter the bathroom and start filling the tub. He put in her favorite body wash and make sure the water was the right temperature.
He went back into the room.
"Bath ready."
"You're the best."
He help her sit up and pull her shirt over her head. Once she was undress he carry her to the bathroom and set her in.
She sigh as all the tension leave her body.
"Press the button when you're ready to get out." He kiss her head before walking out of the bathroom.
He get out of his suit and change into t-shirt and jeans sweatpants before heading downstairs.
He whistle to call for Lucifer. The large doberman came running.
"Hey boy." Novel was the one who name him after her favourite movie. There was a debate but he has learn quite early on not to argue with a pregnant woman.
As much as he love Novel, that woman is the devil 90% of the time. Its like walking around egg shells with her.
The last time she got angry her sister was around. Let's just say Heather won't be coming around anytime soon as long as Novel is pregnant.
He enter the kitchen and start on dinner.
