"so... there's like this other world. But upside down with monsters and shit?" Taylor asked, walking down the street, slowly. "yeah, and sometimes they enter our world and it becomes dangerous. But they are only after eleven"
"why?" Taylor asked, looking over at eleven who sighed. "I opened the gate" She said, almost ashamed to say it.
There was a long moment of silence before Taylor said, "oh."
Then silence again. "but, now we think it's back. Or maybe it's something different. But my step brother, something is going on with him" max shrugged.
"how do you know that?" Taylor asked, leaning over to get a better view of max. Eleven was walking in between them and she wasn't talking much.
"The void" Eleven spoke soft. Taylor furrowed his brows, looking at eleven, stopping in his tracks forcing the other two to stop as well.
The blonde looked at the two, "what void?" Eleven looked Taylor and it looked like she was thinking about what to say. "I find someone and get in their current situation. I could be with them, but they won't know that" She said.
"oh... yeah. I think I've done that before" Taylor had to think way back to when he was in the lab. He hasn't done that trick in so long.
"This is all pointless" Max complained, starting to walk again. "do you not believe me?" Eleven asked, looking her way now.
The red head sighed, "I believe you, El. But like..."
"Is El short for Eleven?" Taylor interrupted. He did that a lot. Max just stared at him, confused and sort of annoyed. "yeah" She breathed out.
"anyway-hasn't Mike sensed you in there before? What if it's just something like that... we don't really know if it was something strange" Max rubbed her hands on her shorts.
"yeah, but she was screaming" Taylor was still sort of lost, but he did know about Eleven saw something with Max's step brother with a girl or something. Doing... something.
Max looked at Taylor as if she didn't want to say anything after that. "When Billy is alone with a girl... they make all sorts of weird noises" Max explained. Taylor knew where this was going. It seemed like Eleven was a bit behind from everyone else, but Taylor was too. But not this much.
The curly head looked down at his feet, smiling a bit to contain his giggles. He was a bit immature when it came to serious topics or inappropriate topics. But his mother says it's because of his loss of a childhood.
"But the screaming"
"Yeah but... they-happy screams" Max said, which made El even more confused. "Happy screams? What are happy screams?"
Taylor stayed out of this conversation. Max said something, but he wasn't really listening. He had a short attention span unless it came to something interesting, like the other dimension and shit.
