The drive to the hospital was the worst, the sun started to set and Taylor couldn't stop thinking about what Peter had told him in his vision shit. He still had no idea why he had them and what they meant.

"did you ever know about this stuff?" Will asked, kicking Taylor out of his thoughts. "about the monsters?" The blonde asked, looking over at the byers boy. He nodded.

"uh, not really. I always thought Hawkins was a shit town and weird and had a bunch of weirdos.. but not like this" Taylor shrugged. Will nodded, looking outside through the back window. There was a long pause of silence throughout the car, not much movement or conversation.

Taylor knew this road. It Whis road, he looked through the back window with Will, seeing that they had just passed his house. There were police cars there, and his mother was lighting a cigarette on the front steps. "shit" he said.

He looked at will, "that's my mom" he said, his voice trembling a bit. "what?" Will asked, looking back at the three police cars that were parked in front of a small house at the end of the road. They turned the corner, but he was still able to see the flashing lights and could still hear the annoying sirens.

Will looked at Taylor, "does your mom know you're with us?" Will asked, watching the blonde tug at her green flannel sleeves nervously. "No... not really" he sighed.

He leaned his head back, hitting the back of his head on the wall of the vehicle. "we could call her later... to let her know you're okay" Will smiled a bit, making Taylor smile. "thanks" He said, a bit more relieved.

Even though will was talking to him, he couldn't stop to think why the police were at his house. Was it really for him? Or did something happen. There are so many possibilities, so many questions he needed the answers to. but he couldn't leave his friends behind for lousy answers, he's 99% sure it's a search warrant, but there was still that chance it was for something else.

The car slowly drove into the parking lot, not being long until they parked that was close by the front doors.

"Alright, let's go" Nancy looked back at the kids behind her with an uneasy smile. The group all left the vehicle.

Nancy lead the way, again, knowing the hospital and which room Mrs. Driscoll was in. they followed the brunette past the reception desk until the lady there noticed.

"Woah, woah, woah—where do you think you guys are going?" She asked, pulling the phone away from her face, looking at the large group.

"Oh—we were going to visit my grandma again..this is my family" she smiled, looking at the kids who had almost perfect poker faces.

The receptionist purses her lips together, her eyes immediately landing on Lucas who didn't seem too surprised. "Extended" he smiled, nodding awkwardly at her. she didn't seem to question it anymore.
