The summer wind flew through the peoples hair and cooled down their skin. The only thing heard was happy cheers from the students exiting the middle school, along with hearing it from the highschool just down the block.

Taylor Simien, a blonde, strange boy, he walked out of the school with his sweater hung over his arm, laying between the crease of his elbow. He was one of the only kids there that didn't take the bus or rode a bike to school and back home. He walked. Honestly, it wasn't bad, it was just about five minutes. He could handle it.

He had a walkman hung around his neck playing a tape his mother made for him for his birthday just last week. Taylor was walking alone on the side wak, just looking down at his feet and stepping over the cracks on the cement.

The curly head whistled to the song that was playing silently near his ears. He wasn't a normal kid. He was very hidden and secretive. He really had no background come to think of it. He was just an experiment. He really didn't have any other meaning when he was a kid expect to be powerful. so, now he's always so hard on himself to come out on top. The laboratory exercises were always competitions, even if they didn't say it, the kids there took it that way. They were just kids. Plus, whoever got the furthest or did the best, they would get a day full on just playtime, no experimenting or tests. They would stay in the rainbow room all day and just play around with these new superhero like powers.

Although Taylor was banned to use his powers at home, he still uses them. All the time, actually. He looks at this as a positive thing instead of a curse. He uses it to pull pranks, get out of trouble, scare people and other fun things. Today he actually started to make a water bottle float in the air. It was a stuck up cheerleader he did it to. He didn't like much. She screamed and he found it hilarious, and nobody knows it was him. That was the best part. The only people who would know why he wipes his nose after everything he makes happen are people who know. They'll never suspect him. They'll never suspect it being a human in general.

Anyway, He continued to walk until he heard someone scream his name. It sounded like the cheerleader, Cheyenne was her name. The blonde groaned, stopping in his tracks. He shut his eyes, preparing himself to be annoyed by the girl. He turned around, opening his eyes.

He gasped quietly to himself when he saw this red place. Where was he? It was dark and honestly, it was scary. It looked like blood was plastered over the walls of this area. Expect it looks exactly like Hawkins.

"Hello?" He asked out, he looked around and saw a silhouette. It didn't look human. He stared at the shadow as it came closer. Taylor swallowed so hard that it almost hurt.

The curly head clenched his fists into balls, preparing to take action. Expect he hasn't used his gift-thing on a human since he was ten. He was fifteen now.

"Hello?" He shouted, hearing himself echo. He hugged into his arms, feeling chills on his arms and neck. It suddenly got colder. After a moment of silence, there was an answer.
