It's Not Really A Date, but is sort of kinda (Boruto x Sarada)

And he was soon joined by a small group of other Narutos, all looking eager for a fight. The big bald guy charged, swiftly weaving Hand Signs and coating himself in stone, taking the form of a golem. Truly a fearsome sight, but no match for a 'Sage Mode' Naruto Clone who easily deflected the behemoth's heavy blows with quick-reflex Taijutsu and a large Rasengan blowing him away into the opposite wall. Meanwhile Mousey-Hair was clearly trying to trap him in another Genjutsu, but was unable to locate the real Naruto with so many having their own Sage Mode active. In desperation she weaved yet more Hands Signs and spewed a torrent of water in the air, which rained down on friend and foe alike with the force of bullets. Some of the many Naruto Clones disapparated after getting hit. But not before one got in close using his lesser frequented 'Boil Release: Unrivalled Strength' Technique to evaporate the water and add power behind another Rasengan, sending her flying as well. The rest of the co-conspirators were taken out pretty quick in similar fashion or plain old Taijutsu delivered swiftly by the remaining Clones that endured.

All but Yudoku who had formed an umbrella-like silvery sheath over his head, and a Naruto who had shielded Kawaki from the water bullets. And was now bleeding out from his wounds.

The REAL Naruto.

"There you are..." the dark-skinned man uttered smugly, before swiftly getting punched in the face and like his companions sent flying into the wall behind him. A still bleeding Naruto then untied Kawaki. The youth got up from his chair and looked over his idol, feeling a heavy weight on his chest.

"Insurgents like that guy should know by now a good Shinobi always has an extra trick up his sleeve, amiright?" Naruto uttered with a carefree grin despite his injuries, noting the hidden transmitter in Kawaki's prosthetic arm that the lad had activated prior to his pursuit in order to pinpoint his location to Naruto's response team, just in case.

"Lord 7th...." he began but didn't know how to finish. He had gone against his adoptive father's direct orders. And now the injuries Naruto suffered were because of him. The Hokage placed a sympathetic hand on his shoulder, and smiled genuinely. "You really should have waited for me to send back-up... (Kawaki hung his head low)... But then again, you did help us find the insurgent cell. And you're alright. I'd say it's all worked out for the best!!"

Kawaki then shook his head. "But, Lord 7th!! You're injures! And you're wife and Hima', they'll be worried sick!!" Naruto held up his hands. "Whoa! Whoa! Calm down. I'm a fast healer, remember? And I know a pretty darn good doctor too. And as for Hinata and Himawari, I've already told them I had business to take care of. I know it's asking a lot of them, but I also know I've got their absolute trust.

"They and all my family are the light of my life. And tonight my family.. (he placed both hands on Kawaki's shoulders, with a firm but yet gentle touch)... ALL my family are saved. Thanks to you."

Kawaki's grey eyes met his hero's kind blue ones (refusing to let them get misty). Until...

"AHHHHHHH!!!"

Kawaki had quickly sprouted an armour-plated shield to protect Naruto from the silvery liquid bullets that flew his way. But the toxic metal was quickly eating away the armour and causing the lad considerable pain.

Naruto turned to find the dark-skinned silver-grey-eyed man standing while surrounded by a tangible ribbon of the same liquid silver mass, and he glared. "So, I'm guessing you're the one in charge here. And it looks like you have an affinity for mercury. I'm also guessing you've been using it infused with your Chakra. Just enough to form a thin sheath to distort and disguise the Chakra signatures of the other Outers entering our village and hide them from the Barrier Control Team, without physically touching their bodies. Then hiding that mercury in other sources before it has the chance for your comrades to succumb to the poison."
