Chapter 4

The first thing I woke up to in the morning was the sound of my phone ringing. "Mmm" I groaned burying my face into my pillow. I double clicked my power button signaling for it to go to voicemail. The room was quiet for a few minutes when it began to ring again. I groaned grabbing my phone, who is trying to call me this early in the morning on a Saturday.

Incoming call from: Nick👹

He would call me this early I thought to myself. "Why are you calling so early dude" I mumbled into my phone.

"Let's go workout" Nick yelled into the phone. I rolled my eyes.

"There's no way I'm going to the gym after a whole night out fuck outta here" I grumbled.

"Come on it'll be fu-", he didn't get to finish his sentence when I hung up on him.
I put my phone down and closed my eyes again just to be woken up by my phone ringing again. I snatched my phone "Fuck off Nick!" I yelled shooting up from my bed.

"It's good for the body to work out in the morning. Let's get the morning pump going" Nick laughed.

"Go with Sage, Maru, Sean, Cynthia, Luke, Viet, Owen anyone. Your possibilities are endless." I listed as I hung up for the last time making sure I powered my phone off just incase he still wanted to push the subject.

I payed down again this time determined that when I wake up again it was by myself not anyone else's doing. Shortly after I fell back asleep.

Later that day I woke up feeling better than I had earlier. I turned my phone back on to see what had happened in my sleep.
I looked at the time it was now 10:40 I was able to get 3 more hours of sleep.
Much to no one's surprise Nick didn't give up after getting hung up one 2 times and had tried calling me back 6 more times, even leaving some texts to go along with it.

Nick 👹: Come on it'll be fun

Nick 👹:I'll buy lunch after

Nick 👹:Lets goooo

I got bored as I scrolled through tiktok so I switched to instagram. As I looked through my notifications on Instagram I seen that I was tagged in a new picture. When I went to go look at it my jaw dropped.

The picture of me and Oliver sitting on the couch together at the event last night had been posted. The picture didn't look crazy but the caption had lead some viewers to think there was more than there actually was.

The caption read "They look like they're getting cozy together" I cringed thinking about all the comments that were probably waiting to hate me for even being next to him.

I closed my eyes and took a breath it's now or never. I scrolled down to the comments to find this

So cute!

He could do better

There's no way they're together

I always pictured her with someone like Sean or Devin

Ain't no way

All the comments seemed to follow along those lines. I stood up from my bed trudging to the bathroom when I looked in my mirror my face showed exactly how I felt. Tired over and over the day already.

I took a shower and then did my skincare. After I left the bathroom I started to brush my hair when I heard my phone ring.

'If it's Nick again I swear I'm gonna block him' I thought to myself. As I walked towards my phone I seen it was Sean FaceTiming me. It's not unusual for him to call me, but this early is a little different.

"Hello?" I answered setting my phone onto my dresser so he would only catch a look at my ceiling as I continued to brush my hair.

"Hey I'm calling to ask if you're doing anything today?" Sean said. I could hear him going down the stairs in his house.

"Why you asking?" I said looking down at my phone.

"I'm suppose to be getting lunch with Teann and her boyfriend but I don't wanna third wheel. Can you come with me?" Sean said as he threw himself on his couch.

"Why don't you take your boyfriend Nick?" I said teasing.

"She wants to hang out with you. She said it's been a while since she seen you." Sean answered.

"Where are we going?" I asked. As much as I didn't want to see Sean after last night I did want to see Teann.

"Teann still needs to choose, she said she'd let me know when she figures it out. I'll come pick you up around 12:30 then." Sean said playing with his curls.

"Alrighty then, I'm gonna let you go then so I can get ready." I said picking my phone back up.

We said our goodbyes and hung up right after. Oh god I thought. I really was hoping not to have to see him until the next podcast episode. As I dried my hair all I could think of is if Sean had seen the picture that had been circling of me and Oliver.

Soon after I finished my makeup and got dressed when Sean texted me saying he was here. I took a breath it's now or never I thought to myself.

I know I said I was gonna post two but I got tired and then didn't even want to post one💀
I'll do the second one tomorrow and I'll make sure to post this weekend too.
