𝟬𝟯𝟳. 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 {𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿}

Bella lay in the bath. She knew that she was trying to get the energy to go to work but she knew it was all too much. She could hear the shouting with the rest of the house as she slid down into the tub. She stayed there under the water trying to drown everything out as derek walked into the room

"Bella?" He called. He looked down at her under the water and pulled her up

"What are you doing" he asked as he handed her a towel as she sighed.

Bella stood from the bath and got ready as Derek looked to her "are we going to talk over what this is" he asked as she walked out of the room and looked to him

"I was taking a bath I needed a moment" she said

"Really do baths include going under and trying to drown yourself. Why don't you take the toaster in with you next time" he said as they walked out into the hallways

"I was not trying to kill myself"

"I wish she would" izzie said as she stood in the hallway

"What did that bitch say" Hannah asked as she and Alex walked out from her room

"Shut it stevens having you got a dead corpse to cry after" Alex spat

They walked into the kitchen

"Bella"

"Drop it" Esme said

"Hey, you want me to talk to the Chief? I know you have that triage thing today but he'll give you the day off. " Derek said as she looked to him annoyed

"Stop! I do not need rescuing. "

"You would have drowned in the bathtub had I not been there." Derek said as Hannah rolled her eyes

"I don't think one can drown in a bathtub" Hannah said as Derek shot her a look

"I'm a surgeon. I do the rescuing. You are not my knight in shining...whatever. " Bella said

"Oh, so we're gonna fight because I pulled you out of the tub. " Derek said

"You have a place. You could sleep at it. And then you don't have to pull me out of the bathtub. You're everywhere, all the time, saying things." Bella said

"This is the happy ever after part and in the happily ever after part the guy is there, all the time, saying things. And the girls love it. Besides I practically live here" he said

"Go to work. I'll see you there." Bella Said

"Just for the record, I am you knight in shining...whatever. " Derek said as bella turned to face her brother and sighed as she saw the look he was giving her as we as Hannah

"I did not try to drown myself in the bathtub. " Bella said as Hannah smiled

" Hey, I ate everything out of the fridge last night, everything, including a tub of butter. There's no judgment here. I blame it on my period" Hannah said as Bella chuckled

" You ever feel like you were just disappearing?" Bella asked

" All the time." Hannah said
