Poor little Abby was bored out of her mind she watched TV, colored, and even took a nap but she was just too rambunctious for her own good but it couldn't be help she was only a child, and children often get bored easily.
Maybe I can ask Poppa if I can go to the park I looked in the kitchen but he wasn't there maybe upstairs I ran up the stairs yelling Poppa's name but no answer I looked all over the house and he didn't call back so I looked at the basement door Poppa always said I wasn't allowed in the basement he said I might get hurt so I open the door and yelled from the tippy top of the steps poppa!

I couldn't find you I looked everywhere.

No can do abs it's raining maybe later we can go and you can put your rain boots on and Jump in puddles but right now isn't the best time.

With that, Gibbs took Abby's hand and led her back to the living room he looked around for a minute thinking about what would keep a little girl busy for a while.

Abs there's only so much we can do in the house sweetheart would you like to make homemade ice cream I have a recipe it's chocolate.

Gibbs smiled as she went upstairs reminding the child not to run he remembered that Ziva gifted her a small apron, oven mitts, and a baking set the apron had been her younger sisters when they used to cook with their mother as kids she saved it all this time and happily gifted to a little Abby who adored it every time they baked things she always wore it. Gibbs went into the kitchen to get everything set up.
I walked downstairs with the apron I needed Poppa's help to tie it I walked into the kitchen and saw Poppa looking in the fridge.
Hmmm, it seems we are out of milk how about we make a quick trip to the store?
Ok, that sounds fun let me go get my shoes!
As they walked out to the car with an umbrella in hand gibbs reminded Abby that they were only going to the store for milk and a couple of items for the house nothing else she nodded and said yes poppa.
As soon as the pair got to the store the rain started coming down hard so they waited a bit for it to slow down and as soon as it did they walked into the store Abby always loved going to the store so many nice people and of course the candy and treats.
Poppa, can I help get something?
Yep, can you grab two cans of green beans?
Abby stuck out her tongue in disgust but grabbed them anyway everything was fine until they saw the candy aisle.
Poppa, can I have some Skittles, please?
Abby do you remember before we left I said we only going to the store to grab milk and a few things for the house?
Yes but please I promise I won't ask for anything else I won't even say I'm bored please poppa.
My answer is no now we are going to grab the milk let's go.
