Star-Crossed Soulmates (Lunar x Gemini, LAES)

Chapter one: The Date

Lunar and Gemini decided since they don't know if they like Lunar back, they would go on one last date to be the tie breaker of what they should do. Pollux was humming and singing all morning until the date, she also got ready super early. They got to the Atrium and the small animatronic caught their gaze. Lunar walked up to them fiddling with their fingers, but still looking up. He found them and walked up to them. 

Lunar: "H-hi."

Gemini: "Hello."

Castor: "so what are we doing again?"

Pollux: "Castor!! I can't believe you forgot!!"

Lunar: "We're uh- going to play arcade games!"

"...Do you even remember what an arcade game is?"

Pollux: "I've learned about this! Isn't it where you... uh..."

Silence.

Lunar: "I- It's fine! I'll just show you instead, it's easier executing than explaining anyways... Follow me!" The little bot said as they started walking and Gemini followed.

Gemini were playing with their fingers, mumbling and to themselves as they walked.

Lunar: "What?" Lunar said turning his head around, stopping.

Gemini blushed a bit.

Gemini: "Wait- you heard that?" They said with subtle nervousness in their voice.

Lunar nods.

Castor: "We didn't use our mental voices-"

Pollux: "DID YOU HEAR ANYTHING?"

Lunar: "Nope."

Gemini exaggeratingly sighed.

Lunar shrugged and kept walking.

They got to the Fazcade, they walked in, Lunar tried to find a game that would be okay for a beginner.

Lunar: "Hmm... Ruin says he would fix these arcade machines."

Lunar decides to choose Pac-Man, a game he thinks is simple enough.

Lunar: "There's this one, I think it's easy enough. You play as the yellow dot, and you avoid the ghost lookin thingies and eat up the smaller dots!"

Gemini: "Who's Ruin?" They tilted their head in confusion, completely ignoring what else was said after someone was mentioned.

Lunar: "Aeehhhh- It's complicated..."

He smiles, seeing Gemini tilt their head. He thinks it's adorable whenever they do that.

Lunar: "A- Anyway... you wanna try playing?"

He blushes a bit as he snaps out of his thoughts.

Gemini tilted their head upright and looked around.

Pollux: "What about that purple one with the bird on it?"

Gemini pointed to an arcade machine.

Lunar: "That's Flappy Bird! It's a game about making a bird not fall to their death."

Pollux looked so curious. It was clear she liked adventuring; Lunar knew this.

Caster: "That's-"

Pollux: "Interesting!"

Lunar: "You wanna try that?" They all smile wide.

Pollux: "Mhm! Mhm!"

Gemini walked over to the arcade machine having to kneel to operate it. Gemini fiddled with the controls but it didn't do anything.

Caster: "Lunar, I think it's broken."

They obviously didn't know how to use this since they have never seen an arcade machine in their life.

Lunar: "Oh! Y- You use it like this..."

He placed his hand over theirs, guiding their hand to the joystick.

Lunar: "You use this to make the bird go up..."

Gemini's face flushed by Lunar helping them. they quickly snapped back into reality.

Caster: "Uhm, okay I think we've got it."

Lunar: "You're supposed to not let the bird hit those columns or fall to the ground."

He points to the screen.

Lunar: "You make the bird go up by pushing the stick thing you're holding. Repeatedly, I mean, you can't hold the joystick up."

Pollux: "Okay!"

They started playing on their own and they were horrible of course, they just learned what 'flappy bird' is.

Soon enough they got so angry about not even getting it through the first pipe they gave up.

Pollux: "Hmph!! That game is Evil!!"

Lunar's laughing a bit at their attempts, but more flustered over how cute they were when they were focusing so hard.

Lunar: "Y- You'll get it, it just takes some time to practice! That was good for your first-time playing arcade machines..."

Castor: "I agree with Pollux, 'Flappy Bird' is evil."

He's still giggling a bit.

Lunar: "Then... you wanna play another? Something that's not so evil?"

Caster: "Could you show us around some more? I don't think that we have tried Bonnie Bowl yet" Gemini asked standing up straight from kneeling down to play the game that they were previously playing.

He stared up at them again. He's really, really not used to anyone being that tall other than Earth.

Lunar: "Sure! We can try Bonnie Bowl..."

The twins got excited, even Caster was showing a bit of enthusiasm.

Caster: "uh, where is it?"

Lunar: "This way!"

He led them away from the arcades, going to Bonnie Bowl.
