Chapter 3: Rule 37

Gemini jumped out of being creeped up on while having a moment to themselves with Lunar, but they trusted Nebula, they didn't really care that they were probably watching for however long. But Pollux was still pissed they interrupted.

Pollux: "Uhh yeah! Little bit!" Pollux said passive-aggressively, panting, from what they were doing earlier.

Castor: "Can we have just 5 more minutes than you can tell us the message?"

Nebula: "...Well... I'm afraid we can't wait. It's Taurus and Leo. And if you're unlucky, probably Libra as well."

Lunar's shaking from being embarrassed of being caught, but at that he stops and looks at Gemini worriedly. Gemini looked down in confusion of what they had done so wrong for possibly all Three. After a few seconds of thinking their eyes widened.

Pollux: "Rule 37-"

Castor: "The most important rule."

Pollux: "NO! WE REFUSE TO GO!" Pollux cried.

Nebula sighed. They closed their eyes, looking up at the two again.

Nebula: "Gemini. You know you must do this. If you don't, they'll drag you back by themselves. You know how impatient they can get."

Nebula looked at them with worried eyes. They knew how it felt to be cut off from someone you find interest in, by the same people, nonetheless.

Nebula: "Look, I know how it feels to be separated by people that you care about. But you know the rules!"

Gemini sighed shakily then turned to Lunar.

Castor: "Lunar, promise not to freak out please..."

Lunar looked up at the two.

Lunar: "I- How am I supposed to not freak out about this?! You're being taken away by someone about some rule that I don't know! The fact that you're this scared should mean that I should be scared too!"

Castor: "Please, just listen.." Gemini said slightly calmer.

Lunar, trying to calm down for Gemini's sake, just took a deep breath and asked slowly.

Lunar: "...Can you at least just tell me what rule this is about?"

Pollux: "W-we aren't exactly allowed to date earthlings..."

Castor: "And-and we didn't want to tell you because me and Pollux actually liked what we had, and we didn't want some stupid rule getting in between us."

Pollux: "Yeah..."

Castor: "A-and we might get r-replaced now.."

Lunar's eyes widened with fear. He was afraid to continue asking and went silent. Nebula stood there, feeling the air in the room get tense. She tried to break it up in the best way they knew how.

Nebula: "Gemini. They're waiting for us."

Gemini: "Wait for me..."

Gemini kissed Lunar on the forehead, pulled away, then looked at him, he pouted. Gemini then kissed him on lips for a good-bye kiss, they then pulled away and turned away and stood in front of Nebula.
