"I will see you in three months, honey," Mrs. Miller said as she hugged her 11-year-old son, sending him off to summer camp in Colorado.

Once Jason's parents left the camp, he then walked to his cabin and he was looking around the place. He finally arrived in his cabin and talked with some of his cabinmates, so that he does not feel alone. Jason made fantastic friends on camp, they were all happy together and getting along

"You gonna be in middle school? this year?" His cabin mate Julius asked he's going to be an 8th grader soon

"Yep! I'll be studying in California because my dad has a new job there at a High School. He's going to be a football coach there" He explained

"Cool. So you live here in Colorado?" Luis, another boy from their cabin asked

"My parents put me and my siblings in different summer camps in Colorado for the meantime, for them to take care of things about moving to California so we can just relax and not stress about it" Jason chuckled

He looked around camp at some of the other kids his age. Not until he spotted a girl who had round black frames, she had pale skin, big almond eyes long black hair, and very thick bangs. The girl was sitting all alone on her earphones and writing something in her notebook.

Jason couldn't stop looking at her because, in his eyes, she was really pretty. Like he has a crush on her at first sight

"Poor kid, she looks lonely" Julius said as he looked at the girl who was writing something in her notebook / journal

"Nevermind, I think her friend just arrived"

Jason kept looking at the girl, by just a glance his first impression of her was very shy and quiet. Because of how she listens to her very talkative friend. A few hours passed and he could not stop thinking about that girl he saw at lunch at the camp's cafeteria.

Once it was already nighttime, the campers were all at the field for an assembly. The assembly had a few welcoming greetings from the staff and administrators. A few hours came by and Jason was talking to a few kids that he knew from camp

"I'm telling you the weather in California is hot and traffic is hectic, so make sure to read your sunscreen" Nika, a cousin of Jason said

"Thanks for the tips Niks, I'll make sure to follow all of your tips once I move to LA before summer ends" Jason smiled

"Nika, we have a cabin meeting in 10 minutes," The female cabin mate of hers said, and the girl who Jason saw at the cafeteria this morning passed by with the girl who informed Nika. He was a bit surprised when she passed by like his heart was beating fast.

"You got it, Sharon! See ya Irisse!" Nika said as the girls jogged off to their cabin

"So Irisse is her name. That's such a pretty name" Jason thought as watched the girl as she jogged off to her respective cabin. Bro has a crush on her

"I know that look, Jason. You were looking at the girl who had bangs and glasses" Nika chuckled looking at Jason's gaze

"That's Irisse Parker. She's from California and she's pretty shy and quiet at my first impression but you know we'll get to it. And the girl who informed me is her older sister Sharon" Nika said as Jason nodded his head
