Irisse walked to her locker at a fast pace and got the stuff she needed today, as she closed the locker, the girl was greeted by recognizable boys, surprisingly it was her boyfriend's friends

"Good Morning, Ms. Parker!" Kevin greeted her with his happy morning voice, the girl then glanced at the other two boys behind Kevin and she smiled at them as well to say hello

"Is this about Jason?" Irisse asked the three boys with her eyebrow raised

The boys stood there in silence as they scratched their napes and fidgetted their hands, it was obvious that they were gonna talk about her boyfriend

"Silence means 'yes' alright. You have 10 minutes" Irisse agreed as the boys looked at each other and smiled 

Irisse walked past the boys as they followed her and brought them to the shortcut hall of the school. The three boys faced the girl shorter than them and the tension in the room was pretty awkward

"About Jason-" James started to break the silence

"How is he? Jason and I had a pretty big argument last night, and I'm just... concerned about him. Have you talked to him since?" Irisse cut off James and asked the boys how her boyfriend was doing 

"He told us he's gonna be suspended for 3 days for what he did," Nathan said

"Up until Thursday. Aren't suspensions up until Friday?" Irisse asked the boys

"Supposedly, but his Father asked the principal that his suspension be up until Thursday because the next day after his suspension is his outside-of-school football practice on Friday, at San Diego" Kevin explained as Irisse furrowed her eyebrows

She had thought if her boyfriend's football team would train along with her best friend's football team, that made her overthink for a moment what was gonna happen on that day

"At least he has an excuse" Irisse sighed  "Also, you three, what's going on? You sounded pretty urgent." The girl changed the topic and raised

"Look, this might be a little awkward, but... it's about Jason. Last night, he, well, he kind of opened up about the argument you guys had." Kevin glanced at the others, then at Irisse

"What did he say to you guys?" Irisse looked surprised

"He told us everything he felt after what he did" James answered

"Jason felt a mix of emotions after punching your best friend, Leo. He feels regret or guilt and he realizes that his actions could negatively impact his relationship with you and complicate his social circle." Nathan explained everything Jason opened up to his friends

"On the other hand, if he punched Leo out of anger or jealousy, he might feel justified, even if he knew it wasn't the best course of action. Jason could also be feeling anxious or worried about potential consequences" Kevin continued Nathan's statement instead

Irisse had a straight face the whole time as the boys told her the whole story, but on the inside, she felt worried about her boyfriend

"You know he cried so bad last night and told us he still loves you, even after you slapped him really hard during your argument," James said

"Dang, I also feel the same way. But I guess I'll talk to him once I'm willing to" Irisse said with reassurance

"Please look after him for me, as of our situation now while we give each other personal space" Irisse smiled at the boys as they nodded their heads, she took a step back and brushed strands of hair behind her ear, and as she turned around to leave. There it was.
