Chapter 22-Registration

Soohyun: I wonder how they can hide the Hero League organization in this huge city? Shouta: Wel,l they use a decoy. This whole building is for the League. You didn't notice it when we walked in, but there were power detectors as soon as you even step foot in the building. Mina: Woahh really? Shouta: Yep, they were there last time I came in. Thats's how they figure out if you're an ordinary person. Now they don't just kick out any non-power user, they actually have an entire front. They make it seem like they are a professional graphic design company and when people walk in they act like their all just doing their part. Its to the point they actually have graphic design power-users to really fake it. They are good at hiding. Like, really good. The sign is really high but they actually go by a name of Hideaki Art. The guy who runs HL is named Hideaki that's why. Fun fact no one actually knows his power. He keeps it a secret and doesn't show it to anyone. Not even the masters. Well, as far as we know. I learned it the last time I was here. Its all quite familiar now. 

Front desk woman: Hello, how may I help you today? Shouta: 405. Front desk woman: I see, please head to the 6th floor and fill this paper out. Shouta: Thank you. (At the 6th floor) Aria: H-How did you know to do that? Shouta: It says on the website to say that. It's like the password. They tell all the customers to give their order number anyway. Aria: Woah.. Shouta: Alright, you guys here are your papers. I was supposed to say 400 and however many papers I needed so I stated 405 if it helps with clarity. Mina: Here I thought Haise was the smart one.. Soohyun: Yea Shouta is another level.  Haise: guys, he has experience, its not that hard when you've done it before like him. Aria: Yea I guess you're right. hmm so thats what that trip you took with mom that I wasn't allowed to go on. Shouta: Haha yep. 

???: I don't know where to take it either! ???: People are going to hear you, be quiet will ya? Mina: Wonder what's going on over there? ???: Fine, I'll just ask them. ???: Wait what if they're no- 

???: Hello do you guys no where to turn in the the registration papers? Shouta: You just give them back to the woman that gave you them. ???: Okay thank you so much! Oh by the way my name is Layla. That over there is my brother Lukas. Lukas: Hello, I-I'm so sorry about her. She didn't bother you, did she? Aria: Oh no no, don't worry. Lukas: Sis, you were lucky they were power users that would've been bad if they hadn't had been. Layla: O-Oh yea you're right. I'm sorry. Lukas: Just let me do the talking when it comes to strangers, okay? Layla: Okay I'm sorry. Anyways what's your guys' powers? 

Haise: If we are going to discuss our personal endeavors lets go somewhere more private. Lukas: Woah, that sounded like, really smart haha. You must be really smart then I assume? Mina: Oh yea, Haise's probably the smartest one here. Layla: Woah, he will probably pass the tests with ease then. Haise: I may know a lot, but I just absorb what I see fit to know. 

(At the discreet location)

Shouta: Here's a good place. Mina: Okay so I'm water. Soohyun: Lightning. Shouta: Also lightning. Aria: Ice. Haise: Fire. Lukas: Woahh you guys have cool powers. I'm water as well. Oh but wait until you hear Layla's. Aria: What is it? Layla: Well, my brother told me its not like any other powers and its even rarer than the elemental ones. (All in awe) Layla: My power is called poison. All: Woah! (All have shocked faces besides the twins) Aria: So you have a superpower? Layla: If that's what you wanna call it then yes haha. Anyways we should probably get these papers turned in. Shouta: You're right. Lukas: Hey lets exchange numbers and we can keep in contact. Mina: Oh! Good idea. 

(They exchange numbers) 

Shouta: Maybe we should all hang out until the League starts. Layla: That's a good idea! Lukas: Hmm how about we go hang out in the city for the next few days? Mina: Oo can we go bowling!? Lukas: Of course! Soohyun: Yes! 

(They turn in the papers and head beck to their hotels)
