Chapter 25-The New Master

(The next day)

Lukas: This is so scary.. Mina: Yea, just 4 missed and we're goners. Aria: Hey uhm, what exactly do we do if some fail and some pass? Shouta: I guess we'll be separated. And hopefully the failed ones can pass the next time.. Aria: If they don't? Haise: Never see each other again. Shouta: Y-yea what he said. Soohyun: Hey, we can't just be mopey about everything we haven't even got there yet. Lukas: I get that, but if even one of us fails the whole point of going to the League together is ruined. If Layla doesn't pass I don't know if I could go on without her. Layla: We've done everything together since we were little, splitting up now would be a train wreck. Of course we have our alone time but we've never been over 100 kilometers apart before.. I'd have to go to school by myself and make up some story on why Lukas left. Hoping they would even believe me.. Lukas: If you don't pass I probably won't go on. We said we are doing this together and we will. Aria: Can you back out even if you passed? Lukas: Of course, we paid for the trip didn't we? Aria: Yea, I guess you're right. Haise: Here it is. The building that determines our future. Soohyun: We gotta be confident! Mina: Yea! I like that attitude Soo! Soohyun: And I like yours too *smiles*. 

(They enter the building and go to the announcement floor.)

Haise: Looks like we came early. Layla: Yea there aren't a lot of people here. Aria: I wonder if the girls we met yesterday are here. Haise: Yea and- oh of course he's here. Mina: Who? Haise: Daichi.. Soohyun: Listen, I know you hate the guy for bullying you but he apologized, you have to acknowledge that. Haise: I won't acknowledge anything. He bullied me for years and all of a sudden he's trying to take OUR thing away. Shouta: *sighs* I get that man. Soo, he isn't going to forgive it that easily, just let him go. Soohyun: I guess.. Layla: How much time do we have left? Lukas: 5 minutes. (from a distance) Shenmi: Oh those are the people we met yesterday Yuxia. Yuxia: Oh hi there! Aria: Oh hello. Shouta: Nice to see you guys again. Shenmi: You as well. 

(They talk until the announcer begins)

Announcer woman: Hello Hello everyone! Welcome to the first result day of the Hero League qualification exams! (crowd cheers) Today I will be announcing the results of yesterday's written exam. I am very very proud to announce we had a lot of passers! (crowd cheers) Out of the 197 of you that took the exam, 106 of you passed! If you are confused on that amount that is roughly 54% of you that passed which is well over half of you! Now I love how many that is! But I am afraid to say the physical exam is much harder. You may be smart on paper but now you must prove that you are truly able to be a member of our league. First off I would like you all to know your results so we can get those out of the way. I am not going to announce all 106 of you because that would take forever haha so please go see your results on the many boards around this room so everyone can view easily. 

(Everyone disperses.) Aria: So I guess we go look at that one thats not crowded. Soohyun: I agree. (They walk over to it.) Shouta: Should I read them off? Haise: That would be best. Shouta: Okay. There are only about 20 people on this page I'll go find ours. Haise: In the back probably because of late registration. Shouta: Yea you gotta point. Okay here's the list of 15 people who registered last I'll just read the whole page.

Shouta: W we all passed. Mina: Bro, Haise is the only perfect score on that whole list. Soohyun: Can't say I'm surprised with him haha. Aria: Me neither at this rate. Haise: Haha, thank you? I honestly can't believe Daichi only missed one question. Maybe he does want to be nice sometimes. Soohyun: Told ya.

???: GOSH DANG IT ONLY 12/33?! ???: Ayato buddy calm down its okay you can try again next time. Ayato: I WON'T BE TRYING AGAIN BECAUSE I WON'T BE COMING BACK. FRICK THESE HEROES I'M OUT! (He storms out) Shouta: Seems like he's a sore loser. Lukas: Guessing his friend passed and he didn't. Soohyun: Hey you okay over there? ???: Oh me? Yea I'm good. Sorry about him. He's a sore loser. I tried to get him to study more but he wasn't up to it so this is what he gets. Name's Aro by the way. Shouta: Nice to meet you I'm Shouta, this is my little sister Aria, our friends Haise, Mina, Soohyun, and the twins Lukas and Layla. Aro: Nice to meet you guys too good luck in the physicals if you passed. Aria: You too. 

Mina: Hey look isn't that the guy you fought with in the London exhibition? Aria: Damian? *gasps* It is him! Mina: Can't really say I'm surprised, that dude was strong. Haise: He may be troublesome in the physicals lets be careful. That teleportation could definitely help him tremendously. 

Announcer (speaking with someone privately): Oh my word, really? ???: Yea we don't know what happened with him but that kid is next in line with strength levels. Announcer: Thank you I'll tell them right away. 

Announcer: Attention everyone! Before we send out the failers and get onto the physical exam breakdown, I have some very important information! As you may know, not every single one of us power users possesses an elemental power. Some power users posses what we like to call "Super-powers." These super powers are powers outside the elemental branch. For example: super speed, super strength, poison, telekinesis, and teleportation are all super powers. They, just like the more common elemental powers, also have masters. They are not as well known but they do indeed exist. In fact, I think poison's master lives somewhere in Russia the last time I checked... but enough about that! I am here to inform you of a great loss we have just received news of. As of earlier this morning, the Master of Teleportation, Ken Eren, has passed away today in his residence in Canada. Therefore a new master must succeed his place. 

Announcer: As of that, I would like to formally announce a new master among one of our exam takers. Crowd: *gasps* (very shocked and surprised faces cover the crowd). Announcer: I would like to formally congratulate Damian Roy, on becoming the new Master of Teleportation!
