Chapter 2
(Neville P.O.V)
The snow fell hard and all the Hogwarts students were heavily coated with jackets and warmers. I was waiting for Luna right outside the school, ready to go to Hogsmeade with a box of enchanted chocolates.
When you ate one a message popped up with a picture of who was thinking about you.
Luna appeared with a big fur coat, but thankfully she took off the radish earrings and looked all the more beautiful.
"Oh my god, thinkers chocolate! I used to make these with my father, and sometimes when I ate one a picture of you popped up..."
I blushed and took her arm.
"So, how is your father? I was hoping to meet him soon," I said.
"Oh." Luna said sadly, her face darkening. "He is in St Mungos, he was hit by a Death Eater right in the heart a month ago."
"I'm so sorry!" I said.
"I'm afraid... He will die soon," she said, her eyes shining.
"You can stay with me," I said cheerfully. "My grandmother won't bother us." Luna brightened up almost immidiately.
"Thanks, Nev!" and she kissed my cheek.
"Have you told your father about me?" I asked Luna.
"Oh yes, it often cheers him up when I talk about you! He thinks that you are a wonderful boy." she shivered. "Boy, it's cold."
I put my arm around her and we continued walking, and I felt like I could have told her anything in the world.
The sun was coming down and Luna and I were just sitting there, talking. All I could notice was the shade of her ocean blue eyes...
"ALL THE STUDENTS! REPORT BACK TO HOGWARTS IMMIDIATELY, THERE ARE DEATH EATERS ALL AROUND!" boomed Professor McGonagall's voice.
I took one look at the confused Luna, grabbed her hand and ran out of Madame Puddifoot's teashop. We could see Harry, Ron and Hermione and Ron was shouting
"Why the bloody hell are Death eaters here?"
Luna and I rushed back to the castle and as soon as we got in I led her to the Room of requirement.
"I need a place to hide from the death eaters." I thought quickly.
We rushed in as the door appeared. But when we got inside, there was already another occupant.
"Well, hello, fellow witch and wizard. Any idea who Luna Lovegood is?"
