On Tour with R5!

Chapter Four: Let it begin

I woke up at 5:30 am the next morning. The plane left at 7 so I had plenty of time. I left Evan to sleep while I hopped into the shower, and then got ready. By the time I was ready I noticed Evan was already in the living room. We got in the car and headed for LAX. When we reached the waiting area I saw the Lynch’s and Ratliff sitting down. We went over and greeted them. Evan wasn’t overly friendly but I guess he was just in one of his moods.

Before I knew it, it was time to board the plane. I began to get a little emotional. I wasn’t going to see Evan for a while. Evan noticed and gave me a soft sweet kiss right before pulling me into a tight hug.

“I’m going to miss you Maddie, I love you.”

“I’m going to miss you too. I love you too.”

You began walking to the gate and turned back and waved to Evan. You got onto the plane and looked out the nearest window but Evan had already left.

You went up to Riker who was directing everyone to their assigned seats. I was seated in the middle with Ross on my left and Rocky on my right. Behind us Riker was on the left with Rydel in the middle and Ratliff on the right. In case you’re wondering, Ryland was flying over in a few days with Mark and Stormie, although Stormie and Mark weren’t going to be staying. They were actually going on a cruise with my parents. They’d been planning it for months! Andre was already at the destination, which by the way was Chicago. He was going to be driving the tour bus but he had to arrange a few things before the show. Plus he had some family members there who he wanted to visit.

This flight was going to take five hours and none of us remembered to bring the Uno cards! That always filled in a lot of the time. I took out my phone and took a picture of Ross, Rocky and myself before tweeting it with the caption:

 “My plane buddies for this flight! @rossR5 @rockyR5. Can’t wait to get to Chicago!”

They both retweeted it and so did Riker. He was ALWAYS on twitter!

The plane finally took off and I looked to my right to see that Rocky was fast asleep. Clearly someone didn’t get much sleep last night. I quietly took a picture and uploaded it to twitter:

“@MaddieJR5: Awww look at the precious little @rockyR5 sleeping!! :P”

I heard Rydel giggle a little so I assumed she had just seen the photo.

An hour later I was starting to get a bit bored so Ross and I did what we always did when we were bored. I would say a word, and then he would say what came to his mind.

“Umm Seat”

“Sit”

“Stand”

“Uhh, I don’t even know, my brain isn’t thinking. Hahaha”

“So what are you looking forward to most on tour?” I asked Ross.

“Honestly? Getting to do what I love with my family, for the best fans in the world, with my best friend! I’m so glad you can make it for the whole tour this time.”

“Aww! Me too. I can’t imagine surviving ten whole weeks without you guys!”

“What about Evan? You’re leaving him for ten weeks.”

“That’s completely different, I survived before him so I can survive now, but I’ll still miss him like crazy! You know?”

“Yeah, I get what you mean… But the real reason is because I’m so much dreamier.”

“Wow, you are so self-absorbed Hahaha.”

The conversation went on for a little bit longer but after that, we were both incredibly tired.
