After Hestia accused me of poisoning Athena, I feared Zade might take her side and cause a misunderstanding. What is up with this woman? Why does she hate me so much? I haven't done anything, and now she's a guest in our mansion. Not even a minute here, and she's already causing disturbance. Just as I was about to defend myself, I witnessed something shocking.

Athena slapped Hestia, her hand striking with a firm resolve. "You are a guest," Athena said to Hestia with a cold voice. "Don't act impulsively just because Xavier and Foriana said you could stay here."

I was left speechless. Did Athena just defend me? Why did she do that? Athena looked furious. Is she angry for me? Did I misjudge her just because I... I was jealous?

Hestia looked angry, as if she wasn't expecting that. Not gonna lie, I wasn't either, but if she hadn't done it, I might have.

"Athena, I want her out," Zade said to Athena angrily. His eyes showed fury.

"I have calmed her down. It wo—" Zade cut off Athena.

"I wasn't asking Athena," Zade said seriously, looking at Hestia with disgust.

Athena was speechless. She knew she couldn't say anything. Then Siriyah stepped up.

"Hey, guys, let's all calm down. It seems everyone is just upset. But we can't forget that Athena just got better. Let's not put so much stress on her, alright?" Siriyah tried to diffuse the situation.

"You all don't seem to understand the situation," Zade said, stepping forward. "Hestia here just accused her of something serious. And poison at that? Who said she was poisoned?"

They all were shocked. Hestia kept accusing me of poisoning her when nobody said it was poison.

"W-what do you mean?" Hestia said, worried.

"She just fell ill, and when she came to dinner, she just fainted. At least, that is what we said to Athena," Zade explained to Hestia. "No one knew that she was poisoned. Only my father, me, and the doctor."

I was in shock. If nobody knew except them... does that mean Hestia poisoned her? Did she try to frame me?

"Wait a minute. Hestia just watches a lot of movies. She is spouting crazy things," Athena said to defend her.

"Yeah, you know that Hestia says things without thinking. There is no need to react like that," Siriyah said, trying to look confident.

"Yeah, Hestia is crazy. That's why she could poison Athena," Zade said angrily at Hestia.

"Why should I poison a friend of mine?" Hestia said.

"Why did you know it was poison?" Zade asked, making his point clear.

Athena's facial expression did not look great either. But when I thought back, I came earlier to the diner. I remember Athena sitting next to Zade. I can assume that when I wasn't there, it was a normal thing. But this time, I sat next to Zade, and she sat next to Zade's mother.

The tea was already there, and the food too. Does that mean it was supposed to be for me?

"Why do you hate me so much?" I asked Hestia.

"Huh?" Hestia looked disgusted at me.

"You always give me an attitude. Why is that? I haven't done anything?" I asked, trying to make sense of the situation. If the poison was for me, then there must be a reason.
