Chapter 7

"Here you go " Gennis handed me a glass of water while Tool and Bella laid down next to me on my bed 

"Skyla you have to get out of this bed you have been sitting her for two days " Bella said 

"Don't feel like doing anything" I said dully 

"Look just because of this issue doesn't mean you have to stop living " Tool explained 

"Tool im really hurt .." 

Tool sighed " and you have every right to be but don't hurt yourself because of this" 

"for once Tool makes sense" Gennis said in a serious 

I let out a small laugh well letting out a small laugh 

Tool sucked his teeth "Shut the hell up " 

"can I have time for myself guys ? you guys have been here all day yesterday and today i love your company but I just need sometime for myself .." 

Bella got up from my bed "we understand girl just give us a call when your ready to talk " Bella gave me a kiss on the check and left the room while dragging the boys out 

A couple of seconds later Tool came back in my room "By the way take  a shower you don't smell all that pleasant " then winked at me

I threw my pillow at him "fuck up " I joked but Tool was right I didn't smell that good 

   I got out of my bed and dragged myself to the bathroom. I took a nice hot shower for a good 30 minutes. When I was done I put on a baggy t-shirt with some shorts , grabbed my phone and headphones and walked outside my house. I just say on my front steps and looked up at the stars 

"It's a nice out isn't it " 

I looked up and saw Princeton walking towards me 

"What you doing here ?" I asked 

"I um .. heard what happaned , i just wanted to see if your alright.."

I held in the tears that wanted to burst out " im doing alright" I gave Princeton a sad smile 

Princeton and sat down next to me " You don't have to lie to me , I know you not okay" 

I sighed and covered my face "Your right im not okay .. " 

Princeton wrapped his arm around around my neck and brought me closer to him " Your gonna be good Skyla your a strong person and you have friends and family who love you .. plus Corahn is your best friend , don't let this destroy it " 

i nodded my head  "yeah your right " 

Princeton smiled while taking his arm off of me  "I know I am" 

I laughed while shaking my head "Don't be all cocky" 

Princeton laughed "my bad" 

"How you been Princeton .." 

"I have my good and bad days like everybody else but im good" Princeton explained 

I smiled "That's good .. im not gonna lie I miss out little hang outs "

Princeton nodded "Yea same , we need to catch up " 

I looked at Princeton "for sure "

THE NEXT DAY 

I was leaving my house to go to the park but when I passed the living room I saw my mom drinking a tall glass of wine and she just looked so out of it . she kinda looked grey 

"Mom .. are you ok ?" 

"Im fine " my mom said is a very low tone 

"you don't look fine" 

My mom didn't look at me or say a word 

" mom ... " 

once again she didn't say anything she just took a big gulp of her wine. I ran upstairs to Kayden's room , he was playing video games on his xbox 1

"What's wrong with mom ?" I asked 

Kayden didn't look at me "nothing " 

"She looks dead downstairs " I said worried 

Kayden looked at me with sad eyes "just leave it alone ok ?" 

"What ?? is something going on that I don't know of ?" I asked 

"Skyla I said drop it " Kayden rolled his eyes and went back to his video game. I shook my head and went back downstairs to see my mom but when I got there she was gone 

"Looking for someone ?" 

I turned around and saw my dad. I thought about what Kayden said ... i'll just listen to him "nope" I answered 

"okay .. I actually want you to come down to the studio with me today " My dad said 

"Why ??" 

"So you can record some songs" 

"Dad I can't sing ..." 

"You never tried" 

I sighed and rolled my eyes 

"Look you don't have to do any singing today but just come check out " 

"Fine .. can i bring some friends ?" i asked 

My dad nodded his head "sure" 

    I texted Bella , Gennis and Tool asking if they wanted to come and of course they all said yes.

" And that's a wrap ! " 

My dad smiled while taking off his head seats and walked out the sound booth while giving some guys dap 

"And I still can't believe your dad is Chris Brown" Tool said 

I laughed and shook my head 

"your an idiot Tool forreal" Bella laughed 

"Look I never saw her parents before until today" Tool said defending himself 

All of a sudden my phone began to ring , I looked at my phone . I got up from my seat and left the studio 

Skyla : *answers the phone* What ?

Corahn : I have trying to call you for days 

Skyla : I know 

Corahn : so why haven't you picked up ?

Skyla : why do you think ?

Corahn : *sighs* look I need to see you so we can talk

Skyla : what is there to talk about ?

Corahn : everything , i can't have you out of my life because of this 

Skyla : Corahn your having a daughter what you expect me to do 

Corahn  it might not even be mine ! 

Skyla : well until you find out we will talk 

Corahn : Skyla please .. I need you 

Skyla : ... 

Corahn : I have no one 

Skyla : you have Anthony 

Corahn : it's not the same , with you by my side I know everything is going to be okay , at a time like this I can really use a friend 

Skyla : *sighs* alright Corahn .. Alright
