at the same time sam and jai said “yeah”
“ok. are guy still going into the city?” i ask alex and beau
“come on beau. do you wanna spend it with your brothers or go to the city with a shit load of drunk people we don't even know?” alex said.
“yeah ok we will spend it with my faggot brothers” luke, the twins and i stayed for another hour before we went home. we had a few hot days before the new year so we just relaxed by the pool. during the week luke wanted to invite daniel, james and their girlfriends over for new years as well. the night finally came and everything was ready. because it was another hot night we moved the tv out the back, near the pool. couple by couple started to arrive. the brooks brothers came in one car the same with daniel and james. daniel’s girl friend makayla loved leo and lewis. if she wasn't with daniel she was with the twins and daniel always had his eyes on her. every body was drinking except me. luke was looking distracted and a bit awkward. if i caught him looking at me he would turn away. it was getting late for the twins so i wanted to put them to bed. makayla was in the lounge room playing with lewis and luke had leo. as i walked over to get leo luke was talking to daniel and beau. “hey I'm going to put the boys to sleep” i put my arms out to take leo when luke grabbed my arm and pulled me aside. “what the hell luke?”
“are you pregnant?”
“what?”
“it just your not drinking and its new years”
“babe i wanted to put the boys to sleep before i started drinking. i didn't want to put them to bed drunk.” he pulled a face, so i walked over to beau and took his beer. i took a large drink of his beer than gave it back to his. “wow calm down. you have the whole night to get drunk little sis.”
“don't say that. little sis” he walked over to me, handed me luke and walked inside.
