The next morning, Soojung woke up feeling like a dead chameleon. Everything she tried on didn't suit her, and she was utterly exhausted.

The thing is, Soojung has never woke up tired before. Even when f(x) had to stay up late to practice, she had always gotten at least 10 hours of sleep.

However, last night was horrible for her. After meeting Jongin at the park, the blood flowing through her veins felt like blood clots, which was weird because she had anemia. Her temples were pulsing so much with blood that it gave her a major headache, which caused her to stay up all night.

She ended up choosing to wear a pair of white shorts with an overly big sweater to top off with her white tank top.

After brushing her teeth and putting on her clothes, she pulled her hair into a messy bun and started doing her basic makeup routine:

1) Concealer & Foundation

2) Nude/no eyeshadow

3) Eyeliner

4) Lip colored lipstick/chapstick

To Soojung, it didn't matter to her if she wore makeup or not. She felt confident about her bare face and didn't mind to take it out into public, but her managers would freak out if she didn't wear makeup, which is awfully heartbreaking to her. She believed that everyone should be confident about what they looked like and that they should never cover up their flaws because, to Soojung, their flaws were beautiful.

When Soojung made it to school safely (aka SME), she was already restless. She couldn't focus during her classes, and all she could think about was Jongin. There was never a moment where she forgot about him, and it was becoming an obsession for her.

"Hey, Soojung-ah. What are you thinking about that's bothering you so much?" Jessica waved her hand in front of her sister's face.

"Uh- Oh. I'm thinking about a guy." Soojung couldn't lie to her sister's face. It was also another of Soojung's weaknesses; not being able to lie.

"Oh~ You're seeing someone? SHINee? BTS?" Jessica started teasing her sister, blowing Soojung's ears up with a bunch of male idol groups.

"No... he's not 'Chosen', Unnie. He's just a regular person."

Being just as soft hearted as Soojung, Jessica smiled at the fact that her sister had feelings for someone who wasn't in their caste. Due to their popularity, most of the idols were often regarded to only date their own caste, and it was almost true.

But Jessica was a wise young woman for her age. After being kicked out of SNSD, she'd always be aware of how she acted and always aware of what others were doing and feeling. And the fact that Jessica knew her sister so well, it just made Jessica even more suspicious.

"You're not in love with a Wolf, right?" Jessica whispered as softly as she could so no one around them could hear their conversation.

Soojung took a sip of her iced tea and hesitated to say what she was about to say.

"I'm sorry, Unnie."

Even though Jessica did expect this to happen, it still made her a bit uncomfortable. Of course, Soojung was just a mini version of herself, but Jessica grew up to believe that the Wolves were different. That's a difference between Soojung and Jessica. Soojung believed in equality, Jessica believed in inequality.

"Soojung... are you playing with me or...?"

"No, Unnie. I'm telling the truth."

Jessica started spazzing out, scolding about what could happen to her sister. Being sent as an 'Awakened' to hell.

No, it's not literal hell. It's actually an island south of South Korea, and it's used for those who married someone not of their species.

Aka a marriage between a wolf and human.

The island is just simply called 'The Unknown', since the citizens have no idea what it is, since no one even talks about it.

"Soojung, you can't possibly marry him... he would ruin our family. Our pride." Jessica didn't want to bring up the fact if Soojung was going to be happy with this wolf or not.

"No, no. I don't know about that. It's just... I feel something for him." Soojung stared blankly at her iced tea. Jessica took her hand into hers and looked at her sister in the eyes.

"However, I'm not going to stop you from marrying him. I trust that you'll choose a wise husband."

"Wait, you're in a gang?" Soojung raised her eyebrows as she took a night walk with Jongin at the Han River, which was a couple blocks away from her house.

"Nooo. EXO is not a gang, love. We are a group of boys who do well with their training and are put together to be the best of the best."

"That's basically a gang."

A moment of silence passed, making it a bit awkward for both of them.

"I guess you could call it that." Jongin neutrally said, not knowing how he felt when Soojung basically called him a 'gangster'.

"What time is it?" Soojung suddenly busted the awkwardness, wiping her eyes because she was tired.

Jongin took his phone out and looked at the time.

"It's 2:18 a.m." He replied, shoving his phone back into his pocket.

Soojung told him that she was getting exhausted, so instead of continuing their walk, they turned around and headed back to the park.

"Aren't you suppose to be at school?" Soojung asked after she yawned.

"No. I'm basically done with school. All I really do these days is train, but that stuff is too easy and my coaches don't care if I miss my training. I'm already one of the best in my "gang"."

Soojung flashed a smile at him and started yawning three times in a row.

"Are you really that tired? I can carry you home really quickly. Wolves have amazing speed, you know." He continued bragging about his strengths.

Soojung lightly nodded, letting him scoop her up into bridal style. After Jongin adjusted her weight in his arms, he ran like fire through the empty streets and sidewalks, just like a wolf.

"I'm getting dizzy..." she whispered into his chest as he started coming to a complete stop.

"Did I run too fast?"

She nodded.

He didn't reply to her since she was already dozing off, and being a gentleman, Jongin didn't want to disturb the beauty.

He quietly pulled the window open that was unlocked by a stick, and quickly stepped inside. He's lived in a house before, which was pretty fancy for a Wolf, and didn't find the house all that interesting.

Soojung's bedroom was plain and clean, since she was one of those OCD people. Everything was separated into different groups, and nothing was ever put into a glob, which made Soojung feel quite a bit dirty and unorganized.

After looking around her room, Jongin laid her onto her bed and pulled the blankets up to her chest. Looking at a human without being scolded was already honorable for Jongin. But touching and being able to be loved by one was a gift sent by God.

Jongin saw Soojung as the Queen of his world.

"Good night, Your Highness." He kissed her forehead and left her room without leaving a trace.
