No one expected this day to come. It came right out of the blue, and it shocked just everyone who came to know about it.

Their world shattered apart within seconds.

Hand in hand, they were walking across the quiet bride of the Han River, when an inspector started questioning them. When the inspector came to realize that the girl was Soojung, he immediately arrested them.

"Unhand me! How dare you touch someone of a higher caste?" She used her power to 'force' someone into letting her go. The inspector shoved her into his automobile, then Jongin joined her seconds after that.

The inspector spoke some words to his comrades before driving off to who knows where.

"What's happening...?" Soojung asked even though she knew exactly what was happening.

"We're getting arrested. I don't know what'll happen..." Jongin whispered, his voice a bit shaky and off.

They've never been a situation ever like this before. Castes and species separate them, and it's rare to find a relationship between a human and wolf. They've never even dreamt of being able to touch the other kind, which was something that was illegal.

Soojung was petrified of what was going to happen to her and her family. Her family lived in so much honor and power that anything could shatter their reputation. If her family were to find out about this, they would be furious.

Jongin, on the other hand, was calm and mature about it. Opposite of what Soojung thinks, this could be an opportunity for his family and his friends. What an honor it is to even meet a human and get to have a conversation with them, but a relationship? It's basically like a royal ceremony for the Wolves. The Wolves literally worship the Humans, and being married/dating one would basically mean dating a God(dess).

Soojung softly cried to herself while clinging onto Jongin's arm, which made him more shy than usual. Seeing her cry made him feel like he was the one who hurt her. That he was the one who was responsible for her and her family.

If only he didn't talk to her that first that...

After a few minutes of driving around the quiet night of Seoul, they made it to a secret police station that was away from all the busy streets. The inspector unbuckled his seatbelt and climbed out of his seat, which Soojung saw as the devil escaping his lair.

Inspector Ryu went around the side of his car and opened the door to let the two kids out.

"Your parents were called. They're on their way right now." Inspector Ryu informed the two before pulling them out of the car and into the police station.

The two of them sat in a separate room silently while they waited for their parents to come "pick them up". Obviously, the two of them probably weren't going to be sent home.

"I'm so scared, Jongin. My father will be so mad the second he sees me." She cried into her hands, which were handcuffed, as well as Jongin's.

He pulled her into his arms and rested his chin on her head.

"There's nothing you need to worry about when I'm right next to you."

"You're parents are here." Inspector Ryu came into the room with a bunch of papers in his hands.

"What are these?" Soojung and Jongin asked at the same time as they accepted them.

'Authorization for 'Awakened' to be sent to 'The Unknown''

"No... No. I'm not 'Awakened'! I'm still a regular human and citizen of S. Korea, and you dare call me someone 'Awakened'?" Soojung kept herself composed and tried not to raise her voice.

'Awakened' is a term used for people who fall in love with the opposite species. The term 'Awakened' refers to when one wakes up from how they were raised and accepts reality into the heart.

"Soojung-ssi, please follow me into a separate room. You will be able to talk with your family and lawyer in there." Inspector Ryu grabbed Soojung by the arm and forcefully dragged her out of the room.

"Don't touch her l-" He slammed the door shut and continued pulling Soojung into a separate room.

When Inspector Ryu opened the door, Soojunf expected a chaos to break out. However, everything was quiet and peaceful. Her parents were negotiating with a lawyer and her sister was crying to herself.

"Soojung-ah!" Her mother sprang out of her chair and greeted Soojung with a hug.

"Eomma... I'm sorry." She apologized as she cried onto her mother's shoulders.

"No, don't be. Everything's okay. You're going to be released." Her mother wiped the tears away from her eyes. Jessica quickly came up and hugged both of them from the side.

"You worried me so much, Soojungie." Jessica squeezed her sister's cheeks.

"...Jongin... What's going to happen to him?" Soojung whispered, so heartbroken due to the fact that they might get separated.

Her mother hesitated before she told Soojung what was going to happen to him.

"He'll be sent to 'The Unkown'."
