Soojung burst out the door when she heard cops dragging Jongin away from his family. Away from her.
"Wait-" She caught up with everyone and grabbed Jongin by the arm. One of his guards caught her doing it and pushed her away from Jongin.
"Touching a Wolf is a felony, Ms. Jung." The guard said, continuing to push Jongin towards the entrance. His parents were in major tears, especially his mother, and Soojung's family was behind her trying to calm her down.
"Are you saying that touching someone you love is a felony?" She fired back at the guard, making him pissed off. He turned around and walked up towards her.
"Don't s-"
"What if it was illegal for you to touch your wife? How would that feel? And you're here saying that I cannot touch someone I hold dear to me because he is of one of the lowest castes?" She stared right into the guard's eyes while she was trying to hold back the tears.
"Lieutenant Jang... let them say their final goodbyes." Jongin's second guard finally spoke up. Everyone's attention went to the guard, which made her feel like he said something wrong.
"Hey, watch it, Officer Eo. You might lose your job today." Lieutenant Jang pointed a finger at Officer Eo.
"It doesn't matter to me if I lose this job. Even if it is illegal for them to even be seen together, can't you just let them say goodbye to each other?" Officer Eo refused to stay quiet, making Soojung think that she was her hero.
Lieutenant Jang gave a sigh and finally gave in.
"5 minutes. Follow me, Kai and Krystal." Lieutenant Jang ordered. Soojung looked back at Officer Eo and mouthed the words 'Thank you'.

Lieutenant Jang closed the door and said he would be back in 5 minutes for Jongin. When they were finally alone, Soojung let out all her sadness by hugging Jongin and crying onto his shoulder.
"It's okay. We'll see each other in 6 months. Don't cry." He rubbed her back while she cried.
Soojung pulled her face off his shoulders and looked up into his eyes.
"I'll miss you..." She whispered.
"Missing you will make me fall for you even more, my dear." He caressed his thumb across her cheeks and craned his neck down to give her a kiss.
