Winter's jaw was on the floor. Never in a million years would he expect something like this. They seemed like a match made in heaven, like yin and yang. Apparently not, since Moon decided to get pregnant by another dragon. Seeing Qibli with such an angry expression was so unnatural. He never seen him this mad before, and he had every right to be too. Winter was worried about was was about to happen. Was he going to shout at her in the middle of the restaurant? He hoped he didn't, surely he had more class than that. Winter was slightly relieved when Qibli stood up and left. Winter was about to follow him, but he had some words to say to Moon first.

"What the fuck, Moon?" Winter started. "Why the hell would you do that? You two had such a good relationship and you went and ruined it all!"

"Well, she told me that-" Fang began to say before Winter interrupted.

"Shut the fuck up, Fang. I don't want to hear it from you!"

Fang actually did shut the fuck up, which made things easier. Moon had started to cry now.

"Moon, why did you cheat? Just tell me that at least!" Winter asked her. He honestly couldn't care less how mean he was being.

"Well- he- he just seemed- more promising..." Moon spat out between sobs. That wasn't quite the response Winter was looking for.

"In comparison to Qibli?" Winter thought about all the times Qibli treated her like an absolute queen, as if she was the most important dragon in the world, which was how it should've been. Winter got even more pissed thinking about it. He would die before he would ever even think about cheating on Qibli. No dragon could ever beat the beauty Qibli had, no matter how muscular or tough they seem. What made it even worse is that Fang knew about Moon and Qibli's relationship, yet still persisted with her. What an asshole.

Moon kept crying, which wasn't helping anything at all. Winter also got up and left, he couldn't stand being around those two anymore.

When he got outside, he flew straight to Qibli's house, which he shared with Moon. Hopefully he would be there. He hadn't been to the house often, but he knew the way pretty well. The last Winter remembered it, it wasn't that big, it was actually smaller than Winter's house, but it was still perfect for both Qibli and Moon. He made his way to the humble abode and saw that all the lights were off, which made Winter worried that Qibli wasn't actually there. However, he saw that the front door was left ajar, so either they forgot to close it properly when they left, or Qibli just got here. Winter knocked on the door and opened it slowly.

"Qibli? Are you- holy shit!" To Winter's horror, the house was absolutely trashed, as if a violent tornado just went through. Pieces of furniture were smashed, different vases and candles where shattered on the floor, chair were in pieces, and possibly the most heartbreaking thing, right at Winter's feet, was a portrait of Qibli and Moon, torn apart with it's frame absolutely shattered. Winter looked around at the mess, feeling absolutely terrible for him. This clearly had affected him heavily, and he didn't exactly blame him either. Winter walked into the living room, being careful not to step on any shards or splinters.

"Qibli, are you in here? I- I want to talk to you." Winter asked the darkness. He went into the hallway where he believed the bedrooms were. As he approached one, a tall, yellow figure jumped out and hissed at him, his venomous tail barb raised threateningly above him.

"Wait! Calm down! It's just me, Qibli!" Winter backed up out of his tail's range. Winter hoped Qibli wouldn't actually stab his best friend. Qibli's expression seemed to calm down slightly.

"What do you want?" He said menacingly. His tail started to lower, to Winter's relief.

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay-"

"DO I LOOK OKAY, WINTER?!" Qibli snapped. Winter jumped a little, it was scary when Qibli shouted like that.

"Okay, okay! Sorry. Is there anything I can do to help? I mean, I'm not exactly the best therapist, but if you need anything, I'll try to help you out," Winter said sympathetically.

Qibli sighed and shook his head. "No, not really. I'm going to wait for Moon to come back, then I can talk to her,"

"If it's any of my business, what are you going to tell her?" Winter asked.

"Well, we're obviously breaking up, that's first and foremost. After I yell at her, I'm going to leave this house. I can't stay in here anymore, not without being reminded of that bitch," It was weird that Qibli was almost saying Winter's thoughts perfectly out loud.

"Where are you going to go?"

"I- I don't know," Qibli looked down at the floor. "In reality, I don't have anywhere to go. I can't afford a house right now, so maybe I could just be homeless. I know it's not the best idea, but I don't know what else to do," Qibli's voice cracked at those last words. Winter suddenly got an idea.

"You could live with me!" Winter suggested.

"No, I can't, I don't want to be in the way of anyone else-"

"Qibli, you are one of the only dragons I can even tolerate being around, let alone think of as a best friend. I would love to have someone else living with me. It gets really lonely sometimes, especially when we don't hang out for months at a time. I would honestly kill to have a roommate like you! Plus, my house is way bigger than this, so you would be anything but in the way!" Winter placed a talon on Qibli's shoulder. His scales were still as warm as ever. Qibli looked at him hopefully.

"You would really want me living with you? I thought you liked being alone,"

"Well, sometimes I do, but it gets boring after a while. Please accept this offer Qibli, I don't want you to be homeless," Winter said in an honest tone.

Qibli finally nods his head. "Alright, if you really don't mind, I'll live with you. I think we would be excellent roommates, don't you think?" Qibli actually smiled, which made Winter happy.

"We would be the best," Winter hugged him. He could tell Qibli was on the verge of tears, but he didn't care. Winter wanted to be here forever, wrapped in Qibli's warm, comfortable scales. It filled him with energy he didn't know he was missing. After a few seconds, Winter pulled back. Qibli wiped his eyes for any tears that already escaped.

"Thank you Winter, you're a good friend," Qibli still smiled at him.

"Of course Qibli, I'm sure Moon is going to be here any second now, so I should probably leave you to it," Winter started walking toward the front door, he turned to tell Qibli one last thing. "Good luck, Qibli, I know this is hard for you,"

"Thanks, Winter. I'll be at your house by tonight, if Moon even shows up," They both nodded at each other, and Winter flew off to his own house. As much as Winter wanted to stay and see what Moon had to say for herself, he knew it'd be wrong. So he continued flying until he reached his own house, secluded on a hill in a beautiful forest. It shined beautifully in the moonlight. Winter unlocked his door and immediately laid on his couch, waiting patiently for the handsome SandWing to eventually join him.
