*Earlier that day*

The sun was already well up when Party Poison woke up. In fact it was already afternoon when he first stirred. This was very unusual for this to happen for him. Usually, he would be one of the first people to wake up, but that wasn't the case today. Today was the day Kobra Kid and Jet Star visit the trailer park.

The trailer park wasn't exactly a trailer park. It was just an old junk yard in Zone 2 where BL/I threw all of the people who weren't exactly in the right mind because they didn't fit the "perfection" of Battery City. Since it was in the zones, the killjoys had pretty much looked after them. The killjoys didn't have to do it of course, the exiles were still people, kinda. The exiles were dangerous people, so it wasn't his fault that he was awake all night, busy worrying about his little brother, wishing him to come home.

Party sighed and got up from his makeshift bed and fixed himself in front of the broken mirror. He exited his room and entered the diner. There he saw Fun Ghoul sitting in a booth, playing around with his ray gun. "Are they back yet?"

Ghoul looked up and smirked, "Well hello to you, too." Party scowled at him, while Ghoul just continued. "And no, but Jet radioed me just before you woke up, saying they'll be back soon. They just have to check on something, and relax they would be fine. They have been there so many times already."

Party's face softened just a little bit and sat down across Ghoul. The two of them were extremely close, but not as much as Party and Kobra. After a minute of silence, he spoke up, "So what's the agenda for today?"

"Well, as soon as the other two come back, we are pretty much free." Ghoul answered. "Well, tomorrow we have to report back to Dr. D."

Party nodded in approval. He got a power pup beside him and started eating the contents. Even though Ghoul didn't admit it, he knew that he was also worried for the other two. The security got tougher in Battery City the past week and during their patrols, they had encountered more dracs. They think that somebody of importance had arrived in the city and Korse didn't want the killjoys to ruin his plan. There was other possibilities for the addition of dracs, but this was the one that they always stuck to.

Party looked at Ghoul behind his bright red hair. Ghoul went back to fiddle with his ray gun with a concentrated look in his eyes. Party admired that about Ghoul. Once something came across his attention, he wouldn't give up on it.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer."

"Sorry, I didn't know I was even staring." He lied. He knew he was staring, he just didn't want to tell him because it would've just boosted his ego and no one would want that.

"That's alright, if I were you I would be just staring at me at all times." He smirked.

"Shut up!" Party groaned. He knew there was no getting out of this anymore.

"Sure, if only you would help me." At this point, Ghoul was already laughing.

They suddenly got interrupted by that static sound of the radio. Ghoul swiftly took it, "Hello? Jet? Kobra?"

They waited for a good twenty seconds until they heard Jet Star's voice. "Ghoul, Party, you two need to come here. Something is happening and Kobra and I don't know what to do." Party and Ghoul looked at each other with confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"W-we don't know. We think there are new people here, but they're not from the city. And there is a mob right now and we can't stop them." Jet paused. "You two need to come here quickly."

Party replied, "We'll be there soon. We need to know who they are and where they're from." The transmission ended. He looked at Ghoul, "Go get the Trans Am, we have to be there before the dracs get there." Ghoul nodded and ran out. His joking expression was gone and replaced with a serious one.
