Chapter 6 The first step pt. 2 (v1 Ep5)

Ah what a beautiful morning, the sun shining, sky looking bluer than ever. And a beautiful bird flying across the sky-

Ruby: "Birdy no!" She said, crashing into the bird.

She fired into the forest, slowing her fall down a bit before using her scythe to hook herself onto a branch and fall safely onto the ground.

Weiss uses her Glyphs to bounce around, using it to land on the ground.

Ren uses his blades, swirling around the tree and landing on his feet. He dusts himself off in the process.

Yang meanwhile is using her weapon to propel herself across the forest, wall jumping on some trees and rolling on the ground before running.

Yang: "nailed it!"

Pyrrha landed on a branch, turning her spear into a rifle and scanning around the area and noticing Jaune on her scope. She turned her weapon back into a spear, lining it up and tossing it to Jaune, pinning him to probably a near by tree.

Jaune: "Thank you!"

Pyrrha: "I'm sorry!"

Now for Y/n

"How in the world do I get launched straight into a Nevermore!" Y/n teethed, keeping the jaw of the massive birds mouth from closing.

Yeah....maybe let's get to him later.

(Ruby's pov)

I landed onto the floor, looking determined.

"Gotta find Yang!" I say before running in a random direction. "Gotta find Yang, gotta find Yang, gotta find! Oh this is very bad, what if I can't find her? What about Jaune, he's nice! And funny, but I don't think he'd be good in a fight." I pout. "Maybe Blake? So mysterious, so calm. Plus she likes books! But I don't think I could keep a conversation with her."

I shake my head of the cartoonic thoughts from my head.

"Oh! Y/n! He's strong, cool, and pretty handsome...wait what am I saying? Agh! Get your head in the game Ruby! Who else do I know...there's Yang, Blake, Y/n."

I stopped in my tracks when I saw someone in front of me, I stopped hoping it would be Yang but, sadly it was that Schnee girl. She stared at me for a few seconds before walking off.

"Wait! Where you going? We're supposed to be teamates." I pouted.

But after a few seconds she came back, not looking me in the eye but grabbed my hood and dragged me.

Weiss: "By no means, does this make us friends."

"You came back!" I happily said

Jaune: "Hey wait! Come back! Who's gonna get me down from here!"

Weiss dragged me away from Jaunes cries of plea.

"What's the hurry?" I asked

Weiss: "I will not let my mission be delayed because you're too slow. I swear if I get a bad grade because you're-"

SWISH

I used my semblance to quickly get by her side, a proud smirk on my face.

"I'm not slow, so you don't have to worry about me!"

Weiss: "When did-"

"Weiss, just because I don't know exactly how to deal with people doesn't mean I don't how to deal with monsters! You're about to see a whole other side of me Weiss!" I wrap an arm around her, a smirk on my face.
