Chapter 6 - Relapse

Jade's POV

Napahawak ako ng mahigpit sa manibela. Sh*t I forgot to ask them yung about kay Thea.

Si Thea. I've known her all my life. She's my bestfriend. She's always been there for me through thick and thin kaya nung makita ko sya kanina, I mean kahapon pala (3am na kasi ngayon kaya technically this is a new day) isinantabi ko yung meeting ng papasukan kong org. Mas importante sya kaya dun. Other than my father, si Thea ang pinakaimportante sa buhay ko ngayon. Next nalang sila Brix. My friendship with her is black 'n white: it's both I love her and I love her more.

Nung namatay si Mom and Kuya dahil sa accident, Thea was always around. Di nya ko pinabayaan. Nung niloko ako ng boyfriend ko, sya yung mas affected and inaway away nya pa yun. Nung mag-asawa uli si Dad and nagbago sya saken, si Thea yung pinakaunang dumamay saken. She treats me like an extension of herself. With that, I'm more than willing to put my life on the line for her.

I love that bitch so much. Ayoko pag nakikita ko syang hindi nakasmile. My bae deserves all the best in the world because she's kind.

But, I'm not that expressive. People describe me as zombielike. I'm not a hugger. I don't listen to problems. I hate dramas. Pero I can stay around for people na alam kong kelangan ako. Ayoko ng may nagcoconfide ng problems saken. Feeling ko kasi I'm not capable of listening.

Hindi ko man nalaman yung problem ni Thea, sure naman akong malalagpasan nya yun. She got my back.

Nandito na pala ako sa subdivision namin. Di ko namalayan. May bachelors degree talaga ata ako in multitasking: dwelling in so much thoughts while driving.

I get my phone in my pocket and texted the four jerks:

I'm home. Safe and sound.

Paakyat nako ng room. I heard 5 beeps from my phone.

Nung nakahiga nako sa bed, I read the messages.
