Chapter 19 - Celebration

"Iba ka talaga bae! Ikaw talaga yung nagdala eh! Grabe yung gitgitan o!"

Di talaga maka-move on to si Buddy sa tournament kanina.

"Hoy ikaw bro, yung totoo, matindi ba ang tama mo dito kay Jade?" -Ace

"Ano ba naman kayo? Bat ang malisyoso nyo?!" -Buddy

Thea's POV

Ang saya nilang panoorin.

Nandito kami ngayon sa house nila Ace to celebrate their victory. Ako naman eh sabit lang dito. ^_^

Wagas tong nga to magkantyawan. Sa totoo lang, sa mga ganitong pagkakataon ko lang nakikita yung pagkakwela ni Will. 4 years na kami and yung pagkakakilala ko sa kanya eh isa syang man of few words.

Kami ni Jade, we've known each other since we were young pero we didn't share the same circle of friends. Aloof kasi si bae. Nalaman ko nalang na napasali sya sa drag racing. Grabe yung tampo ko sa kanya nun. I dealt with her rebel ways pero yung sa drag racing talaga ako naka-off. Ang delikado kaya. Dun nagstart na sumasama sama na sya sa mga boys na to. Good thing, mga kabarkada ng pinsan nya. From there, medyo napanatag naman ako kasi alam kong di naman sya pababayaang mapahamak ng pinsan nya.

When she hang out with them, di ako sumasama. When Jade and I naman ang nagha-hang out, wala naman sila.

Ganun kami before. Kilala ko naman sila oo pero not really friends na friends. Si Jade lang nag-uugnay samin.

Well, not until nagin kami na ni Will. They became my friends, too. Although di naman ako ganun kaclose sa kanila but I go out with them sometimes especially nung nagtransfer si Jade ng school.

Dun ko sila mas nakilala. Dun ko na discover how much love and respect they have for Jade. They treat her as their princess. Palagi lang nilang niloloko pero prinsesa ang tingin nila sa kanya that's why they felt bad nung sinagot ni Jade si Dave. It explained the distance that these people and Jade had 3 years ago. Pero kahit na ganun, kahit mas pinahalagahan ni Jade si Dave over them, they didn't stop looking after her. They always check on Jade na lingid sa kaalaman nito.

Yung tungkol sa cheating schemes ni Dave, sila rin yung tumuklas nun.

Jade has been through hell all these years but she still got herself so lucky for having these people. They love her and I love her as well.

Di lang alam ni Jade na parang dinudurog yung puso ko nung mga times that I see her how she destroys herself after the accident she had that made her lost her child.

Ang sakit sakit for me seeing her punish herself for loving the wrong guy.

But then, being the warrior that she is, she surpassed that phase in her life. Alam mo yun, bumalik sya sa house nila, nagpatawad.

Little by little, nakikita ko yung progress nya. I can't see that fierce look in her eyes anymore nor the coldness it contain. Yung nakikita ko, lungkot.

The sadness in her eyes is actually a good sign. I see how beautifully vulnerable she is. She's fully human again.

Alam kong meron syang di sinasabi saken.

"Hon? You're spacing out." -Will

"Thea, samahan mo naman ako sa kitchen. Kuha tayo'ng chips. Inaalila nila ako oh." Nakakapit na si Jade sa arm ko.

Hehehe... I hate it when she does these puppy eyes and pouting lips. Pa-baby masyado. "Okay bae."

Will smiled at me.

I adore these two. Jade and Will. They occupy big spaces in my life.
