Chapter 23 - Sleep

If this is what they call paradise, I want to capture everything in here and scatter the print outs everywhere in the world so that all people will be able to understand what serenity really is.

This is perfection! It's a garden of gardens. It's very peaceful here. I put my hand over my chest and I couldn't feel heaviness. I just feel pure joy.

I am walking around and marvelling at this wonder.

I remember Dad, Thea, Brix, Will, Ace and Buddy. Where are they? I need to find them. We need to indulge in this beauty and take pictures together.

I walked and walked further. Why do it seems that I'm having an endless walk?

I can't find them.

I started to panic. And so I run. I run as fast as I can. Nasan ba sila? Bat di ko sila makita?

I'm panting. I'm catching my breath. Where are they? I fall down on my knees, crying in my heart's content.

"Jade?"

Parang may narinig akong voice.

Will's POV

Three months.

Three months ko nang hinahawakan ang mga kamay nya ng ganito. Araw-araw umaasa na gigising na sya. She's been asleep for quite some time. I miss her... I miss her so much.

Naramdaman kong gumalaw yung daliri nya. Nakita ko rin yung pagtulo ng luha nya.

She's awake! God, Jade...

Dali dali kong pinindot ang button and di nagtagal, nandito na ang doctor and nurses. They check up on her. I called up Jade's dad.
"Tito, Jade's awake."

Lumapit saken ang doctor. "We've got one brave girl here." He smiled. "I hope Mr. Howell can come over to sign some papers. I need to do some lab examinations on her and he needs to sign it. For now, Jade is stable."

"Thank you, doc." Lumabas na ang doctor at yung team nya.

Dali dali akong umikot sa bed ni Jade and gazed upon her. I smiled at her. "Ang tagal mong gumising."

Sandali, ano bang nangyari?
