Filthy Rich

Yeah, Quinn knew Ophelia was rich.

When she put it into her imagination, she thought of maybe a nice town house or apartment in london. A golden retriever running around the floors. Ophelia seemed like the rich person that would not appear rich. At most, maybe a suburban house somewhere around London.

But when they got out of the airport, a limo was there to greet them. It was black and sleek, something Quinn may have seen in The Princess Diaries.

"Is that yours?" Quinn asked, pointing at the limo.

Two men stepped out of the car. Both of them were in black suits and ties with glasses. With synchronized steps, they walked towards the group. Quinn tightened her grip on her duffle bag as they got closer.

"George and Richie," Ophelia greeted the men. "Long time, no see."

The men–George and Richie grabbed the groups bags. When they reached for Quinn's she took a quick step back.

"No thank you."

"Just give them your bag," Ophelia replied, rolling his eyes. "What's the worst that could happen."

"You know that's the line that starts off most horror movies, right?"

Ophelia glared at him with a you're-not-helping look. Clarence responded with a shrug and started for the limo.

The inside of the limo didn't feel like a car.

The interior was all white and the seat were a comfortable leather beige. It seated five people but it could've fit twelve. On the side of the limo was a shiny wooden counter that held champagne glasses atop it.

Nadiya pulled out the center counsel between Ophelia and her. Candy in jars and Mexican sodas were spread out on the surface. Nadiya threw brownie bites to Clarence, marshmallow chocolates to Ophelia, gummies to Quinn, and took a Pepsi for herself.

"What about me?!" Francis complained.

"Do you want one?" Nadiya asked, handing out a hershey bar to him.

"Ew no," he answered, shooing the candy away like it was a rabid dog. "Why would I put that into my body? Do you know how bad that is for you?"

"More for me then." Quinn replied, Nadiya placing the bar into her outreaching hand.

"You're going to be the first one to get heart disease!" Francis muttered under his breath.

She grinned and ate the bar without a problem.

After what felt like hours of sharp turns and endless honking, they arrived at a white gate. Something that would be called the "gate to heaven" in church. At the front of it were two people dressed like the limousine guys.

"Ophelia," she began. "Be honest with me. Are you royalty or some shit?"

Ophelia gave her a confused look before bursting into laughter. She laughed to the point her eyes began to water. Wiping away tears from her eyes, her waves of laughter seized.

"Thanks," Ophelia replied. "I really needed a laugh. Have you ever thought of being a Comedian?"

"Hasn't come to mind."

The gates opened as the car began moving again. Within the gates was what looked like a park. Trees bloomed around the area along with different types of flowers, and bushes cut into clever figures surrounded the road. Animals like deer, rabbits, squirrels, and birds ran and flew around the land. Quinn questioned the legality of keeping all these animals meant for the wild within the pearly gates.
