As the human left, the elevator ascended with the lifelike doll and her protective companion to the top of the room. Hanging onto her shoulder, she stumbled as she stood, steps banging and booming in her wake. One of the only ways she communicated her emotions.

Without vocal chords, no knowledge of any other language, the doll built a bond to understood any actions the other one took to express her frustration. Flicking her ribbon playfully, Poppy giggled at Kissy Missy's attempt to stay mad at the human. Her smile somehow stretched further, showing she didn't really mean the temper tantrum.

"They will save us. We didn't work this hard for nothing."

The little doll now walked beside her companion. Using the upper shelves and pipes to keep up to speed, Poppy flicked a few switches and lights to shine the places they were heading through. In tandem, Kissy Missy pressed the switches on the generators to be able to power up what Poppy pressed seconds after she did.

Kissy stretched her arm in order to allow Poppy access down, gently putting back on her shoulder again. The once prisoner nodded in thanks, a smile sent her way before it became a frown. Trapped in her thoughts as usual, planning ahead on how to keep the human around.

"Failure isn't an option here. We all need to work together. Kissy, you know Huggy had to...perish. He lost himself to...him. And he chose to be his follower. Remember when he attacked you?"

An invisible scar Kissy hated bearing every second of her existence. Only existing to recall each and every attempt he sent on her life. For not following his rules, Mommy and even her brother came after her in pursuit of his order. Fearing for her safety, she fled to the lower depths. Never seeing her partner, her sibling ever since the massacre.

"But know that I will not push you. The human is not innocent. All of us aren't. But it is required for them to live. If I hadn't gotten to them, then he would have. He is looking for a new body. And he decided that they were perfect. Who else better to use against him?"

Missy had to agree there. Pushing a button with an exclusive access, the children who once resided here allowed her to pass the obstacles blocking her way. Poppy used their new acquired flashlight to search for any threats, signalling for Kissy Missy to carry on. Obeying without much thought, she ventured forward, her body knowing the direction, and her mind wandering to her previous interactions with the human.

They were a strange one for sure.

"Are you okay with them coming with us?"

The counterpart of Huggy merely turned her head like an owl. Slowly, she stared the little doll down with blank plastic eyes, Poppy starting to regret asking her question. Her smile never wavering, and then she only tilted her head before nodding with a slight huff. Poppy knowing it meant that she was alright with Huggy's...self defensive murderer wandering around their territory.

"...Thank you, Kissy. We owe you so much."

She only shrugged. Poppy rolled her eyes, muffling a laugh with the sleeve of her dress as they came to the end of the hallway. Kissy Missy lowered Poppy to the fuse box, and the lone doll pushed down the switch to power the Playcare. Humming in satisfaction that things were progressing according to their plans. As they entered the mentioned place, Poppy tapped Kissy's shoulder, pointing to the playhouse entrance to where the human stood.

"See what they need."

Kissy Missy uncharacteristically managed to walk rarher quick to her friend. The little doll on her shoulder got off gracefully, rushing toward her human. Her tiny hand went to their leg, shaking them lightly to draw them out their daze. Their face blank, the hood of their jacket to hide their features in the darkness.

"What is wrong? You can tell us."

The human only sent the hand to DogDay's cutout, where it proceeded to scream in absolute terror. As if it were brutally murdered-

Oh.

Now they understood. Looking to each other, Kissy felt the familiar rage along with Poppy. Losing another friend, losing the leader of the smiling critters to him. His servant so devoted did nothing. Eyes narrowed, Poppy made the human lift her in their arms, and she hid her little hands clenching to hold in the anger. Missy hugging herself in tight grip, suppressing any emotion that dared disrupt the moment between them.

Comforting the human from whatever horrors they witnessed, along with making eye contact with Kissy. The two in a silent agreement not to put in any consideration of sparing him. Another preventable death ruined by what he did. If he hadn't gone and corrupted their friends, none of this wouldn't have ever occurred.

"Do not worry, he will not be forgotten."

One way or another, this would end. They would all make sure of it. No matter the consequence.
