"There is no plan!!" I said "We tell them!"
"Why would we?" Dani asked.
"Because they have to learn to live with each other"
"Is that something your mom told you when you were little?"
"Maybe, I don't know, that doesn't matter!" I said "The point is, that they might not like each other, and that's fine! We just need to interrupt them if they are talking shit and it gets out of control"
"But, we should tell them separately" I said with excitement in my voice, perhaps too much.
"Okay. How?" She asked and crossed her arms.
"Just tell Mark you forgot something at the hotel room and need it desperately"
"What would I need so desperately?" She yelled and frowned her brows.
"I don't know! A pad and a tampon maybe!?" I yelled back.
"Do you think he's gonna go all the way back just for a damn pad and-or tampon!?"
"I've seen the way he looks at you, he cares. And I'm sure he would do anything for you" I said. I had a feeling it would work out.
"I don't like talking to guys about periods" she said "and I'm not even on it!!" She yelled.
"It seems like it" I said with a crocked smile, Dani just pointed at me with her middle finger.
"Fine, lets do it"

We both sat back on the spots we had been; Danielle sat with Mark on a couch for two, and I sat on another. She laid her legs across his, making him put his hands on top, and touch her well shaved legs.
I nodded at her to let her know she should say it. Right. Now.
Dani wrapped her arms around her stomach and frowned. Mark looked at her.
"Are you okay?" He asked, worried.
"Oh no! This can't be happening right now!" She looked at Mark, panicked.
I was very surprised with her acting, she was really good at it. When you think about actors and actresses, you think how good they act, but they are actually really good at lying.
"What?" He asked, panicked of not knowing what the hell was going on.
"Japan is attacking!! I don't have any supplies"
"What?" He asked her, and then looked at me confused.
"I don't have any supplies, this is bad!" I said, my lying *clears throat* I mean acting wasn't as good as hers. Hey, I tried.
"Ooh, uh, you mean her period?" He asked, awkwardly.
"Umhmm," Danielle said "and my supplies are at our hotel room. Can you bring them for me?"
"Yes, of course! If this is an emergency I'll do anything for you!" He said "be right back" Mark stood moving Dani's legs gently. And kissed her forehead.
"I feel really bad lying to him," she said after Mark left; her arms were crossed and had a disappointing look on her eyes "and you should probably be too"
"I don't know what I'm doing"
"Should have probably said that before I did all of this!!" She yelled.
"I'm sorry! And why are we still yelling?!"
"Because that's how we fucking do!!" She yelled.
We were silent for a while.
Until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I took the persons hand and twisted it.
"Devin! I swear I am gonna break it if you try to scare me one more time!" I yelled.
"No! It's me! It's me!" Jeffrey's voice said. I let go. "You are way stronger than I thought"
"I'm so sorry, Devin scared me this morning and I thought it was him" I said "I'm so so sorry"
"It's not such a big deal, it's okay" he said. We looked in to each others eyes. Everything was okay.
"Okay?" I asked.
"Okay." He said, and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Aawww, you guys are like Hazel and Augustus, except for the cancer and dying part" Danielle said.
"Oh, Jeff this is Dani, she's, uh, my friend" I said to him.
Danielle stood up and shook hands with Jeffrey.
"Best friend. Annabeth is always talking about you" she said "I really wanted to meet you"
"Oh, really?" He said and looked at me with a sensual smile "well it's really nice to meet you too"
Dani and I looked at each other, hesitantly if we should tell him or not.
"What's going on?" Jeffrey asked, his smile faded, he clearly knew there was something out of place.
"You tell him" Dani said.
"Tell me what?" He asked.
"Ugh. Okay, so, uh. Honey, do you remember last December when, uh, this dude came in to my house and punched you?" I asked him, frowning my whole face.
"Yeaaah" he said.
"Well, he's Dani's boyfriend and he's also here" I said.
"Okay" he said. I was waiting for him to explode with anger. Dani and I looked at each other confused.
"What? You are not gonna freak out or something? Not even want to punch him back?"
"There's no need" he said "it's all in the past"
"Really?" Dani and I said at the same time and looked at each other confused.
"Guys work the other way around, you see. Instead of hating each other on silence like girls do, we fight and then it's over" he said.
"That," I said "makes sense"
"That's shit" Dani said.
