"you'll know soon"

___________________

As you lay on your bed, staring up at the ceiling, a sense of unease settled over you. Recent events had left you feeling unsettled, and try as you might, you couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. "Suspicious," you muttered to yourself, your brow furrowing with concern.

Questions swirled in your mind like a tempest, each one more perplexing than the last. What did they mean by "are you ready?" Why did they seem so secretive? You replayed the conversation over and over again, searching for clues that might unlock the mystery.

But the more you thought about it, the more confused you became. What was their endgame? And where did you fit into their plans? You felt like a pawn in a game you didn't understand, and it left you feeling uneasy.

Eventually, you decided to set aside your worries for the time being. "If I'll know soon enough, then why am I even putting in the effort to think about it?" you reasoned, pushing the thoughts to the back of your mind.

Instead, you focused on the present moment, expressing your boredom aloud. "These headquarters are so boring," you mused, feeling a pang of envy towards those who seemed to have purpose and direction.

With a sigh, you closed your eyes and let yourself drift off to sleep, your loyal pet curled up beside you, offering silent comfort in the darkness. Despite the uncertainty that loomed over you, you found solace in the simple act of surrendering to slumber, if only for a little while.

As you slowly regain consciousness the next morning, you reach for your phone to check the time, and to your surprise, it's much earlier than you expected. You wonder to yourself,

"How the hell did I wake up this early?" You try to go back to sleep, but the nagging thought of waking up early lingers in your mind, leaving you feeling defeated.

Eventually, you give up trying to sleep and decide to get up. As you stand up from your bed, you stretch your arms and legs, feeling the stiffness in your muscles slowly fade away. You make your way to the window and draw back the curtains, revealing a magical sight that takes your breath away.

The sky is painted in hues of purple and pink, and the sun is slowly rising, casting its warm, golden light across the horizon. You watch in awe as the sky gradually turns brighter, feeling a sense of tranquillity wash over you.

You walk out to the balcony and take a seat on one of the chairs, bringing your feet up and resting your chin on them. You close your eyes and take a deep breath, feeling the cool morning breeze gently caress your face. You try to savor the moment and let it fill you with peace and contentment.
