As your eyes fluttered open, the morning light gently filtering through the window, you felt the comforting weight of Mikey's arms wrapped snugly around your waist. Kaya, your loyal pet, was curled up nearby, completing the cozy scene.

Despite the warmth and tenderness of the moment, a sliver of contemplation nudged at your thoughts.

It was a familiar feeling, the delicate balance between being cherished and feeling confined, even though you knew your own strength.

Glancing at Mikey, his features softened by sleep, you couldn't help but smile.

"Hey, sleepyhead," you murmured, your voice barely above a whisper.

His response was a sleepy hum before he drifted back into slumber.

But you weren't ready to let him slip back into dreamland just yet. With a playful nudge, you tried to rouse him.

"Come on, Mikey, time to rise and shine," you teased, tapping his shoulder lightly.

His protest was predictable, a mumbled request for "just five more minutes" before pulling the covers over his head, clinging to you like a koala bear.

You chuckled at his antics, but the growl of your stomach reminded you both of more pressing matters.

As he looked at you slightly smirking "Ya bitch, I gotta take shit now let me go" you relented, trying to squirm out of his grasp.

"I need to use the bathroom, so let me go, you big lug."

With a mock pout, he pushed you off the bed, landing with a soft thud.

While he just wrapped up with Kaya sleeping again, you muttered "Betrayals".

As you made your way to the bathroom, the cool tiles beneath your feet were a welcome sensation. A quick shower later, you emerged feeling refreshed and ready to face the day. Opting for a knee-length red dress and a comfy beige cardigan, you slipped into your chosen outfit, perfect for the day ahead.

Returning to the bedroom, you couldn't help but notice Mikey's absence.
Typical, you thought with a fond smile. He was probably off in his own little world, lost in the morning routine.

But where was Kaya? The absence of your faithful pet piqued your curiosity, leading you to venture into the living quarters.

"Morning, boys," you greeted with a grin, scanning the room for any sign of your scaly friend.

With no luck, you shrugged it off, deciding to focus on the more immediate task at hand: breakfast. Heading to the kitchen, you set about preparing a hearty meal, the familiar rhythm of cooking soothing your soul.

Despite the chaos of the morning, there was a sense of comfort in these simple routines, a reminder of the bonds that tied you all together.
