After caressing his beard for a while the emperor said

He summoned the lesser spirit of light Aalo, a little firefly like fairy .

Aalo concentrated and a tiny spec of light came out of her and entered the princess' eye. The princess closed her eyes surprised, because of the sudden beam of light hitting her eyes. Then she slowly opened her eyes. They were emerald green, shining in the moonlight.
