Seeing her like this Sylvia asks,
: Loraine, why is there black all around you?! Why are you scared?!
Loraine got confused for a few seconds and then regains her composer.
: Please get up! The princess is not hurt. We aren't going to punish any of you.
The woods couple looks up then thanks the princess and her maid.
: Little sister, did you hear what she said?! Your Mama and Baba won't be punished so please stop crying!!
She hands little Mirabel her handkerchief. Little Mirabel looks at Sylvia once again then takes the handkerchief and wipes her tears.
: Little sister, it's my birthday today and I don't want to see the lovely sister cry.
Sylvia says to Mirabel so caringly
: Really?! It's your birthday too big sister?!
Mirabel's tears dry as soon as she hears that. Then she excitedly says
: T - then let's pick our own gifts!!
: Sure!!
Sylvia also replies excitedly.
: MIRA!! We can't trouble the princess!!
Mr woods scalds Mirabel.
: It's fine , looks like the princess wants to too.
: Really?! Thanks then!!
They bow to show their gratitude.
Loraine looks at the two girls and thinks to herself , what a fine gift the two got on their birthday. Yet they'll never know.
The girls were hesitant to hold hand after the shock. Yet they managed to hold hands by placing the handkerchief between their palms.
