If you open your eyes to the truth, including myself there will be three to four people who can handle the Mangenkyo sharingan.. In that case, there would be a reason to let you live.." Itachi said as he took a step closer to Sasuke
"It would be worthless to kill someone like you.. my foolish little brother.. If you want to kill me.. curse me and live a long and unsightly life.. continue to run (an: DASI RUN RUN RUN NAN MEOMCHUL SUGA EOBSEO. Truthfully.. I was imagining.. Itachi like singing this when I wrote this.. Like.. having an epic face-off with Sasuke and he's there removing his akatsuki cloak halfway and trying to sing BTS- RUN) and cling to your pitiful life and someday, when you have the same eyes as me.. come before me." Itachi then turned his back on him, only to look back and dodge a kunai that made a slash on his forehead protector. A tear slipped down his eye as he saw Sasuke slowly losing his consciousness.
He ran trying to catch Sasuke, only someone else made it to him before he did.
"Hello.. Nii-san.." Yomi said, placing one of Sasuke's arms on her shoulder
"Yomi..."
"I see you have killed everyone here... what are you planning to do next? Go rogue?" she said, strangely calm
"...It was for the sake of testing my limits..."
"Then why aren't you killing us? Why let Sasuke and I live? Why kill off everyone else? Other children of the clan had the same chances as us in killing you.."
"...."
"The answer was probably.. you couldn't do it, can you nii-san?"
"How did you know..?"
"I saw it. That day, next to the river. You weren't the one to kill Shisui-nii, he gave you his eye. Instead of killing your best friend to gain the Mangenkyo sharingan. I am guessing it is the loss of a best friend that will make you gain one. Besides, if you were the one to kill him. Are you positively sure he died and that he didn't survive the fall? No right? You aren't sure at all, just because his chakra signature disappeared soon after he jumped." She said walking towards Itachi.
"..You are indeed a smart one Yomi. But there is nothing else I can do, I can only wait for judgement to be passed down to me as I murdered everyone from the clan. I shall defect from the village and become a rogue. You and Sasuke will one day pass judgement onto me and become heroes for being the one to kill the villain that killed the entire clan. I must leave now, I can sense people coming. Remember that you are my precious little sister, I will be watching your progress from afar. So grow up and make me proud.... also, goodbye my precious younger siblings" Itachi said, shunshining away.
Soon after, the Hokage arrived with a few jounins to see the whole clan massacred and 2 of the only survivors standing in the middle of the road. The girl was holding an unconscious boy up and looking up towards the moon. Turning towards them to acknowledge their presence and giving them her brother. After a few days of watching her unconscious brother, she got bored and decided to go away from the village to travel.
Yomi asked permission from the hokage to leave for a few years, and only coming back when it was time for Sasuke to become genin as she had said years ago that she would wait for him before going for the chunin exams. The hokage was worried for her, but he agreed to let her go anyways. Yomi packed up her bags and left the following night, not knowing that her brother had just woken up in the hospital. Leaving the konoha borders, she opened up a portal and walked right in after making sure no one was nearby. She went back to her own dragon kingdom. Going into a room, she was suprised to find the occupant already up and running about, shouting like a madman
"WHERE AM IIIIIIII?! OH GODS, DID YOU KIDNAP MEEEEE? SHOW YOURSELVES!!! I'M TOO PRETTY TO BE KIDNAPPED LIKE THIS!!!" The man shouted, still not noticing Yomi's presence
"I see you are awake..."
