First of all, I am sorry for not updating the book in 3 years. I was completing my Bachelor's degree. I finally graduated on September this year. Youngest in my batch and the first one to complete my degree in my grade. If you're wondering, it was a Psychology degree which is kinda useless now that I've completed the degree. I can't find a job. I took it to understand more about human feelings as I have very low emotional intelligence. So I am unable to read situations properly. I need people to say facts straight to my face.
I'm thinking of rewriting this book... Should I do it? It's been 5 years since I made this book
Don't worry though, I won't remove this book even after I've rewritten it.
Yomi sighed as she teleported all around the place, trying to find some idle jounins. Regret filling her as she didn't stop Sasuke last night, if she did, she wouldn't be in this situation right now. She ran to the main gates to ask Kotetsu and Izumo if they had seen any jounins come back from their missions. What she found there weren't jounins, but they were good enough.
The 3 sand siblings spotted Yomi running towards them and waved as a greeting.
"What are you three doing here?" Yomi said as she skidded to a stop.
The 3 of them explained their circumstances and told her that they had come to Konoha to thank them for not attacking while the sand was at its weakest point and even sending supplies for them to recover.
"Why were you running here?" Temari asked Yomi when she saw Yomi pace around.
"Sasuke ran away. Gotta find jounins. Meet up with Shikamaru's team." Yomi said shortly as she paced around even more. Temari recognising Shikamaru as the one she fought during the chunin exams
Yomi then walked towards the gate guards, "Kotetsu-san, Izumo-san. Did any jounins return from their missions?"
"Currently, none of them are back. But Kakashi-sensei and Asuma-sensei (Quick question, do they call them sensei even if they don't teach them? Or do they just say -san instead?) should be back soon." Hearing that, Yomi started to pace around once more.
Gaara stepped up to talk after being silent the whole time. "We can help you if you'd allow us to."
"Your help would be appreciated, Shikamaru's team headed north, presumably towards the hidden sound where Sasuke would be going. I'll go and find Kakashi-sensei and Asuma-sensei. Thanks for the help." Yomi said as she ran out the gates. Disappearing from their sight the moment she stepped out of Konoha.
Finding Kakashi and Asuma was easy as they were on their way back from their own missions, she encountered them a few minutes after she left the vicinity of the village.
"Kakashi-sensei, Asuma-sensei, sorry to have bothered you when you are on your way back from a mission. But Hokage-sama assigned me to find any available jounins to help with the retrieval of Uchiha Sasuke who defected from the village last night." Yomi said, before they could ask her what was wrong. "Shikamaru's team left earlier, the sand siblings offered to help and are already on their way. Sasuke and his entourage are presumed to be headed north, towards the hidden sound village."
Yomi left them before they could get a word in on her, leaving them no choice but to try and head towards the direction she spoke of as she was nowhere to be seen. Yomi went straight to the forest, following the marks that Shikamaru's team had left previously. Passing by the sight of the battle between what looks like Chouji and a sound ninja. She skipped straight through the battle, knowing that Kakashi and Asuma were right behind her, so she did not have to worry about Chouji's safety.
