-atrabilious-
The next day, having gotten information from their sensei about the second exam. They all gathered in front of a large forest. The forest was surrounded by large metal fences with keep out signs pasted all over.

In front of them all was Anko, "This is where the Second Exam will take place. The 44th training area, also known as the Forest of Death." When she finished her sentence, a gust of wind flew by, giving it a more dramatic effect. It was like she timed it at the perfect moment.

All was serious until a suspicious looking rectangle rock with holes started following Naruto. It was comical to say the least. The rock was revealed to be Konohamaru and his friends who said that they had came there to take an interview from the examinees. Anko gave them a 10 minute break for the interview. All the kids did were interview Naruto and his team, talk about favoring. Soon after, they left and the exam is resumed.

"You will be able to experience why this place is called the Forest of Death." Anko said.

Naruto started imitating her. It pissed her off and she threw a kunai at him, grazing his cheek and cutting some creepy grass ninja's hair. The creepy grass ninja picked up the kunai with their tongue and returned it to Anko who almost cut their tongue off. Totally unhygienic.

"Well, I get itchy when I see blood. Also, my precious hair was cut, so I got a little excited." The grass ninja whispered.

"More like turned on. Probably their kink or something." Shin whispered to his team and Team 12 who just snickered at his statement.

Anko began to walk to the front again, taking out a pile of paper as she continued walking. "Before we begin the Second Exam, I'm going to pass these out to everyone." She said, showing them what the pile of paper was. "These are consent forms. Those taking the exam must sign these."

Naruto stepped up, "Why?" He asked.

"From here on, people will die. Therefore, we need people's consent before we continue. Otherwise, I'd be held responsible." Anko said and laughed.

She passed the pile of paper to Naruto, who passed the pile around.

"First, I'll explain the training area's geographical features. The 44th training area is a circular region surrounded by 44 locked gate entrances. There is a river, a forest and a tower in the middle. The tower is approximately 10 km away from the gates. Inside this limited space, you will have to go through a certain survival program. This program consists of a competition where anything goes, over these scrolls" Anko said as she took out a pair of scrolls. A black one with the letter earth and a white one with the letter heaven. "You will fight over these scrolls. 34 teams in total passed the First Exam. Half of those teams will get the Scroll of Heaven. The other half will get the Scroll of the Earth. Each team will get one of these scrolls. Simply, you have to fight over these."

"And? What's needed to pass?" Sasuke inquired.

"Bring the Scrolls of Heaven and Earth to the tower with your teammates" Anko replied

Sakura just had to add her input, "In other words, the 17 teams or half the people here, that get their scroll stolen will fail."

"But it needs to be done within the time limit. This second exam has a limit of 120 hours or exactly five days." Anko added.

Chouji was complaining about not having food for five days. So Anko told them to scavenge for food for themselves. Kabuto just had to add that there are lots of poisonous bugs and plants, making Cobra sigh in relief. At least he can eat those.

Shikamaru asked if they could quit in the middle of the exam, his question was shot down. They were not allowed to quit in the middle of the exam and that they must spend 5 days in the forest.

Anko began explaining the rules, "While we're on this topic, here are the conditions that will fail you. First, a team that cannot bring both scrolls to the tower with the three teammates will fail. Second, the team that loses a teammate or produces an unrecoverable teammate will fail. Also, just as a note. You are not allowed to look inside the scrolls until you reach the tower."

Naruto was curious about the last part, so naturally he asked about it. "What happens if you look?"

"That's a surprise you'll see when you look at it. If you become a Chunnin, you will be handling top secret documents. It's to determine your reliability. That's it for the explanation. We will exchange three consent forms for one scroll at that hut and after picking your gate entrance, everyone will begin at the same time. Here's the last piece of advice. Don't die." Anko said, getting serious on the last part.

Soon everyone scattered around the area and started filling their consent forms. The area around the table where they were supposed to submit their forms were covered by curtains, making it seem like a makeshift tent. The examinees soon entered one team at a time and took their scrolls.

Team 12 got an earth scroll, same with Team 13. Cobra then smirked, thinking of an idea. "Hey guys, what scroll did you guys get?" He asked out loud, even if he already knew what scroll Team 13 got. The others soon caught up with the idea.

His question caught the attention of a lot of examinees. Shin smiled innocently, "We got the earth scroll. She'll be the one to hold it. What about you guys?" He said out loud, on purpose.

Zeref smiled back at him, "We also got the earth scroll, guess we don't need to battle each other!! They gave the scroll to me!!" He shouted, letting the people overhearing them know.

"Even if we battled each other, it would be an easy win. Erik can't handle poisons and Jellal can't handle quick attacks" Haku said, with his usual smile.

"It would be an easy battle for us too, Shin can't handle quick attacks too, She is easy to ambush from the back and you are weak against water" Jellal smirked.

"Well then, may the best team win." Shin said with a friendly smile as he gave out his hand for a handshake.

To the ones eavesdropping, they just found really easy preys who just revealed their weaknesses. The examiners shook their heads at how stupid Team 12 and 13 were. Anko noticed this and smirked. "They're not being foolish if that's what you're thinking. They are luring out prey with their innocent and stupid act. They don't need to find opponents, instead their opponents will come to them instead. Their weaknesses are not real. In fact, it's the exact opposite." Anko said to the other examiners whos eyes widened at the incredibly risky plan. The examinees didn't hear this and most of them with the heaven scroll were thinking of ways to ambush Team 12 and 13.
