Chapter 3

*Ryan's pov*

The car ride was very quiet thankfully. I really didn't have much to say, well out loud at least. As we slowly pull into the driveway I began to unbuckle I felt a hand on top of mine. obviously Keith's.

"Before you get out can I ask you a question." He said looking very deeply into my eyes. I didn't like how he seemed serious about whatever he had to ask but I was curious so I let him go ahead and ask.

" umm yeah sure." I said not making eye contact.

"Well earlier at the party when we were introducing ourselves you seemed a bit like you don't like me I mean you don't want me to touch you." He said rubbing my hand.

At this point I realized he still had his hand on top of mine. But since I didn't want to spark more concern so instead of me yanking my hand away I just slowly slid it away from his.

"I just don't like touching is all." I said still not making eye contact.

"Oh well uh-

"Can I please go in now." I said while looking down.

I didn't want to be rude but I didn't want to talk anymore and I knew the if I did talk. That meant more of my past being dug up from the grave.

"Yeah of course why wouldn't you be able to go.I'm not holding you hostage I was just worried that's all." He said putting his hand on my thigh.

When he put his hand on my thigh I couldn't think straight not in a good way. But in a bad way. So instead of moving his hand I just got out the car and went into the house.

*keiths pov*

After she closed the front door I just sat there. It was something about her. I don't know what it is but I'm gonna make it my mission to figure it out. To figure her out.

Finally I pull out the driveway but as soon as I pull out I see an oncoming call from dc. My phone is connected to the car.

*Phone call*
"Yo." I said while focussing on the road

"Bro Keith did you drop her off yet." He said rushing his words

"Yes I dropped her off like ten or twelve minutes ago. why?" I was so confused

"Because nigga jude over hear tripping saying she should have been home now because ry ain't called Jude yet."

"Ok imma swing back over there and see what's up aight." I said making a u- turn.

"Aight thanks bro I was trying to hit so make sure she calls please."

"Aight talk to you later bro."

After saying our good bye's. I pull up in the driveway and I see all the light are still off. Just like they were when we pulled up the first time. Walking onto the front porch I knock on the front door I don't hear anything so I knock again and still no sound and no answer.

I wiggle the door non to see if it's unlocked and it is. I start getting more worried than I was before because the door wasn't locked and there was no sound coming from inside the house.

When I open the front door it's pitch black all the lights were off I make to the stairs being careful of my surroundings.

As I get to the top of the steps I see all the lights are off up there to. So stop moving and pull out my phone and turn on the flashlight. I pointed in all directions and see nothing so I continue walking and I see a room door open so walk down the but not before turning the hallway light on.

When I get in the room I turn the room light on to see Ryan laying in the bed. I slowly walk up to the bed just so I don't scare her and I see that she's sleep.

She must have just came straight in and got in the bed and forgot to lock the door and call Jude. Taking out my phone which i had put back in my pocket I call dc back.

*phone call*

" wassup Keith she good."

"Yeah man she good she was just sleep I guess she laid straight down as soon as got in and forgot to call." I said turning the camera around for him to see

"Okay wait let me show Jude so she can calm Down. She was about to drive over there."

"Hey Keith is she okay." Jude said looking worried

"Yea she good she just went to sleep as soon as she came and I guess forgot to call." I said turning the camera around.

"Okay good because I thought you did something to my girl I was about to find you and kill you." She said laughing that's how you know she's crazy.

"You almost lost your life ugly ahh boy." Dc said sticking his tongue out

" nigga whatever I'm going home imma see you tomorrow." We said our goodbyes and I hung up

Looking down at Ryan I can see that she still has her clothes on. I debated on taking them off she stated that she doesn't like touching so I decided to just leave her. I just put the cover over her and made sure she was breathing and left.
