Thank you so much for reading!
I'm going to copy and paste the final note that I made on ao3 at the start of the final chapter.
"Lovely, lovely, lovely readers.Well, it's time. It's here. The final chapter.
I have so many things I want to say but don't know how to put them into words.
Never, in my entire life, have I felt as fulfilled as I have writing and posting this fic.
Never, in my wildest dreams, did I ever think that it could mean so much to even one person, let alone the amount of people it seems to.I had no idea that people might cry, I had no idea that people would re-read chapters while waiting for the next one, I had no idea it would encourage people to get assessed for ADHD, or keep studying, or understand their children more, or get therapy.
I never expected that anyone would like it enough to ever recommend it to anyone, let alone multiple platforms. A couple of days ago, I found out it had been recommended on Twitter, now we just need Instagram and Facebook, and all the social media sites will be covered.
I was hoping to have another fic ready to go as I posted this, but it didn't work out that way because I wanted to give this one all I had.
I plan to have an epilogue within two months, and I'll post it here. When I post it, the other fics (two, as juggling this one wasn't enough, apparently) will be, at the very least, started. However, I still consider this finished without the epilogue. It's just a fun little addition.
And this is the part where I'm sure my tears wont be able to stay at bay.
Thank you so, so, so much for joining me for this. Whether you've been here from the very first chapter and blindly trusted a stranger to get a fic finished (and I delivered 235k in 10 weeks), or if you're reading this years after this, I'm so grateful you've gotten to the final chapter. The support has been unbelievable. Crazy, unimaginable, overwhelming. I don't know how so many lovely and supportive people managed to find this fic but I'm so thankful you did because it made this whole thing so much more special.
I think that's all I have to say because I've said everything else before in these crazy, unhinged, but loved-filled authors' notes.
I said I'd never ask for any type of interaction, but maybe if you got this far, you might like to give kudos or leave a comment or something, as they really do mean so much to me. And if you ever feel like sharing it with others, please do.
This chapter is three times longer than my average chapters. I really hope that you enjoy it and feel like it ties everything up with a pretty little bow.
