Chapter 6

The plane was waiting for the team, brand new and ready for liftoff. "With this baby, getting to Egypt will be a breeze! Ha, ya get it? Breeze? Cause we'll be in the air?" Joseph joked, only to be met with another audible groan from his grandson. "Well, I thought it was funny." 

They would have all gotten onboard if a young man didn't call out for them. "This baby is deathly pale; he must make it to Egypt." He exclaimed. 

"Umm, he looks alright to me." Jotaro mumbled. 

"We don't have a hospital here, please you must take him with you. There aren't any other flights out of here and taking the ferry will be too long." The man pleaded. 

The group was stumped, although it wouldn't hurt to have one more baby on board. "Josuke now has a friend his age with us. At least until we drop the other baby off." Kakyoin remarked.

"Yeah, besides, it's not like DIO would stoop as low as getting a baby to join his mercenary squad." Joseph commented before the gang got in the plane and lifted off.

Josuke looked at the new baby and examined it. The baby was around the same size as Josuke, a bit thinner though. It had short black hair, and big blue eyes. Not to mention the pale skin the guy who held the baby mentioned. Hearing that he was sick Josuke started bapping him with Crazy Diamond

"Awe, are you trying to heal him Josuke?" Polnareff cooed. "Honestly why couldn't he just heal the baby before we left?" Jotaro asked. "Well, it would be weird if a baby just magically healed somebody." the old man replied as he looked through the window. "I still don't know about that baby..." Jotaro thought.

Kakyoin, who was sitting next to the new baby decided to check its temperature. "Whoa, that guy was right, he's cold to the touch, I don't think Josuke can heal him. This is some advance stuff then." He noted.

"Well, I'm sure his mom would be grateful if we got him all the way to Cairo, it shouldn't take too long anyways." Joseph assured his grandson. "With my flying skills I could go all the way around the world and back!" 

Josuke cooed as he approached the other baby, sticking a hand out to touch him. However, he bapped Josuke away, turning away to curl up. "Well, that was rude, you guys are gonna be together, so you need to get along." Kakyoin informed the other baby. 

Things seemed to be going smoothly at first, maybe a little too smoothly. During the flight, two palm trees simply grew out of nowhere. "Gah! Where did those things come from? The rest of the ride was all sand dunes and the occasional camel skeleton!" Joseph squeaked, crashing into the trees. 

Thankfully no one was hurt, but the plane was totaled. They would have to go the rest of the way on foot. "Dang, and we were making good time too." Polnareff remarked. He was holding the new baby in his arms, softly rocking it. "At least you're alright little guy. Oh, il est trop mignion." 

"Eh?"

"I just think he's the cutest little baby I've ever seen, look at his little face, and that lovely hair of his." 

Jotaro cocked his head, what got Polnareff so affectionate towards the newcomer?
"I mean, I know he's sick but isn't that a bit overkill?" Jotaro thought. "I know, there's something up with that baby." Kakyoin thought back.

Josuke, meanwhile, was getting jealous from the lack of attention as Polnareff and Joseph were cooing at this new baby. "Oh, hey it's okay." Jotaro said as he picked up the pompadoured baby. "Don't be jealous just because you're not the center of attention, Josuke." Joseph said before looking at the new baby.

Jotaro was now starting to be even more suspicious at the new baby, especially how passive aggressive the old man suddenly was to his son. "Why the hell is he coddling this random ass baby?" Jotaro stated. "I swear to god if this is a stand user-"
