Chapter 3: Found it!

4 YEARS LATER

Alaina's Pov:

It has been four years since my reincarnation and i already got accustom with my life, it was hard at first but everything is great especially when our villainess has been growing to be just fine

I never really thought that it will be enjoyable living with a daughter. We would take care of the crops together, we would exercise together, practice together, eat together and so on.

I am enjoying my life and i am happy to say that Erina has been living really well filled with happiness as i've always wanted that really makes me so happy.

As of now we are trying to look for the hidden village, i mean we've been looking for it for the last 3 years now but still couldn't find it and we already search every corner of this forest but still failed and we are actually starting to give up

If only we had a clue

"Mama, are you fine?" my 11 years old Erina ask as we stop walking and look around

I look at her cute worriedly face with a smile and carressed her long hair. She has grown to be a beauty and healthy too.

"I'm fine honey just thinking" i reassure her and look around again until i notice something unusual

Is there always a bushes here?

Wait there's something inside

I look at Erina and make her sit in the tree

"Wait here baby, i'm just gonna look over there for a bit ok?" i told her as she nod obediently

I smiled at her and walk my way to the bushes while making sure that Erina is safely sitting where i left her

Seeing her sitting obediently i sigh in relief and slowly walking my way to the bushes. I can see something moving on the other side of the tall bushes

Is it animals? Or did we finally found where the village are. I gasp in realization and immediately parted the bushes and i was shocked at what i saw

Not far away from where i stand is a village full of friendly looking people, small houses and refreshing environment

I was struck with awe as i watched people laughing and shopping, there's also people selling things like fabric, clothes, foods like meat, seafoods, veggies, fruits, cook foods, tools and many more.

Feeling happy and relief i laugh happily and immediately run to my daughter and brought her to watch the village as she stared at it with awe

"Look baby. We found it" i whispered as tears start pouring down at her cheeks

I kissed her lovingly as i cried alongside her

We've been waiting for this day. To fulfill one of the wish of the true owner of this body

I smiled and hug the crying Erina and sigh looking at the village

'Alaina, are you watching? We found it'

"So your telling me that you've been living in the Madakan Forest 'alone' with your child for 3 years?" the village chief ask in bewildered

So Madakan Forest is the name of the forest huh?

"4 years actually" i answered flatly as she gape at me

"4 YEARS?!!" she shouted as we flinch

She look at me in disbelief and then look at my daughter who's looking cute with her shyness

I sigh and hug my baby while drinking the tea given to me and then look at the chief who's observing us with weird amazement. I don't know what we are doing here right now, all i know is that an old man saw us looking at the village and ask who we are and after i told him we are from the forest outside those bushes he immediately brought as here where we met this lady in her 40's claiming that she's the village chief

She keeps asking how did we get in without using the portal that merchants been using to visit the village using some special pass and has been looking at us with interest the whole time. When i told her that we've been looking for 3 years while living in the forest she was stunned and now this happen

I don't know what's the matter with her but i don't wanna ask

"You both look healthy" she whispered that brought me back to reality as she look at me gasping with amazement that makes me frown "I can't believe you're still alive and well and looks like been living without a problem" she said amaze

"Well, i did my very best to give her a life she deserve while we look for this village" i answered as she laugh in amazement

"You are so fucking cool" she cursed startling me as i cover my daughter's ears

She flinch at what i did and apologize while scratching her head and told us things that we can stay if we want that i immediately refuse and told her that we would just visit to exchange our crops with our necessities. She just shrugged it of and said 'ok' as we talk until evening

"Thank you for letting us in" i bowed

She smiled at me and wave her hands infront of me

"Naah, that was nothing, you amaze me. And i enjoyed our talk" she smiled and then brush my daughter's hair who's already asleep in my arms " It was really amazing how you raised her to be so healthy, so cute and so lovely" she said genuinely and look at me "You are such a good mother" she said and giggled

I smiled at her and said my goodbyes before leaving

Good mother huh?

I look at Erina and kiss her head
