Chapter 4: 6 YEARS LATER

"Mom I'm home" Erina informed

I stop what i am doing and smile

"Welcome home sweetie, are you hungry?" I ask drying my hands with a towel and look at my daughter putting the groceries in the kitchen counter.

It has been 6 years now and my little pumpkin has already become teenager who will be turning 18. In the last 6 years we explore the wild and as you all know we finally found the hidden village that Alaina and our daughter has been looking for. It was 30 minutes walk from here but with us being like Tarzan can go their in only 25 minutes, half the normal time. If you are asking why we still stayed and didn't go to the village to live there is because my daughter doesn't want to and me being a woman who likes quiter place agreed to her and also I enslaved myself for a year to build this house how can I abandoned it,  especially the farm.

But to have a most comfortable life we would visit the village to trade our goods for grains, fabrics and money. I also build a coffee house that opens every 5 morning till 5 in the afternoon 3 years ago and it has been really helpful to us. At first we manage the coffee house by ourself but a year ago we decided to hire people to manage the shop. Being the only coffee house in the village it was so popular that we become the richest family in there. I sometimes visit the coffee house but oftentime my daughter Erina will visit and manage it after her trainings as the manager of the shop

We sell cakes, cookies and obviously coffee but also offer a tea, fruities, milk shake, and milk tea for teenagers and kids and those who don't like coffee but wanted to drink something.

And all this years memories of Alaina slowly came to me and 6 years ago, I've learned about her life and the fact this is the novel I read before I died the "Rosentia" where it all started with a girl who fell in love with a knight who was actually the only heir of the West Dukedom and my daughter's betrothed and like in every novel. The girl did everything to be notice by the knight yet failed over and over but when she started to avoid him the knight realize how he treasured every petty attempt and silly annoying things she did for him to noticed her and finally pursue her leaving my daughter alone and in pain.  Looking at her fiance chasing another woman without thinking about her. Being the villainess,  my daughter tried everything to get her fiance back at her even though it means she need to kill the girl. But when her assassination attempt failed, she loses her life in the same they she lost her beloved fiance

*Sigh* I want to prevent that from happening but I know there will be the day that the father of my daughter will come and found us to take her away from me. Yet, I can't do anything because the man has the rights to be with his daughter. That's why I taught her everything that a noble should do with the extra of martial arts and swordsmanship to protect herself from harm and politics to protect herself from twisted society of noble people.

I just hope that she will be alright the moment she left my den and for her to find happiness.

Third Person's Pov:

In the middle of the woods where the sun is setting. A sound of rustling can be heard as two shadows dance mysteriously in the forest where even a single footstep can't be heard but only the movements of the trees and the sound of the wind whispering in a silent warm morning. And in a closer look, you can see two person,  one being chase and the other chasing. They run through the woods without stopping until they entered a small village where 20 muscled man was waiting for her. Without a second thought she attack them with grace and smoothly make her way to escape the little ambush, she fight with calm and strong mind as if she was dancing without music. And so the fight didn't last for 40 minutes before she start running again to make her way to her real destination.
