Hey Guys! Before I start writing, I'd like to dedicate this chapter to @BreakingFandoms because they support this story a lot and it inspires me to keep on writing, so thank you for that! And also, this will be a shorter chapter, so sorry about that. Also, if you would like, please check out my other story, I've worked really hard on that one, and even though it isn't based off of anyone, it isn't a fanfiction, please check it out. Thanks!
Marley POV
"Hey, what do you wanna do?" I say. I wanted to know how far he wanted to go before I put any of it in action.
"Uh, I don't know. But I do know that I want you to be comfortable. So if you start getting uncomfortable, physically or emotionally, just tell me and I'll stop."He was so sweet. It was adorable. My mom was away, I wasn't hungry, and Ryder was here on my bed, with me.
"Um, before we do anything, I have a question. What exactly are we?" I ask.
"I mean, well. I dunno. I guess you're my girlfriend. Do you want to be?" he responds.
Do I want to be? I guess it would be nice to have someone there for me, that won't cheat on me like Jake did. Jake was a man-schlut. (I know it's spelled wrong.) Jake told me that he used to break up with a girl if she didn't call back within six hours. He was pressuring me, and I didn't want to do it under pressure. But Ryder is letting me go at my own pace, with anything I do. So, I guess I do want to be his girlfriend. I don't know what we were before, but he proved to me that he was worth way more than anyone else before was."Yeah. That. . . That sounds good," I conclude.
We were just sitting awkwardly on the bed earlier, but now, my head is on his chest and his arm is around my shoulder. Our faces are toward each other."We've been through so much this year, and you happened to be there all the way. So thanks," I say.
"Well, the year isn't over, and it was a pleasure to watch you kissing Jake all the time. No, that actually hurt," he laughs.
I giggle. "Well, now I'm with you. And you're worth much more than that man-schlut was to me," I cuddle my head closer to his.
He smiles, "I love you, Marley."
Whoa. That was fast. Already the L-bomb. What do I say back? Do I say, "Yeah, I love me too" or "Yep"? What do I feel about him. I've learned that I do love him over the past few days, and I don't want to make him lay there awkwardly by himself.
"I love you, too," I say finally.
He leans over, takes my face in his hand, and kisses me. To my surprise, I don't do anything that requires thinking. I just let my body do its work, and soon, I'm kissing him back. My hand is on the back of his head, touching his brown hair. "I love you, too," I repeat. And I know it, he's doing more than I allowed Jake.
