Pre war 1923-1938

Germany or Also known as the Weimar republic had gone through so much trauma and chaos over the years as extremists and nationalists parties attempted to take over Berlin and the country multiple times but still to no avail of the Weimar government.
In 1923 the worst hyperinflation of world history saw peoples hard earned savings become absolutely worthless and began to starve from unimaginable food prices as billions of marks high.

In 1923 the Nazi parties paramilitary group clashed with the communist armed forces in Berlin and caused a couple hundred people as residents or people to die from the collision of the two dominating parties. And the leader Adolf Hitler attempted to take the country by force seeing that there were no options left by marching on Munich the second largest city in Germany. But the police stopped him from ever getting their in the first place and was caught in prison in 1925 after receiving as a guilty suspect of the attempt.

But the German populace loved Hitler as the Weimar republic was both a failed and struggling nation in the making but of Hitler came to power that would change Germany for the better as he would find better and more efficient ways to earn money instead of the poor decisions of the Weimar policticans caused further damage to the German reputation and people.

Italy had planned an invasion of the Abyssinian empire for the second time as in a previous attempt before world war one they failed as the Abyssinian emperor successfully repelled the italian army from Ethiopia and Eritrea.
But this time the Abyssinians were not as well developed as the Europeans because they didnt believe they would need to fight anyone. But the Italians had far more superior military by guns, men and technology like basic tankets. When the invasion began the British and French tried to help Abyssinia by giving supplies and weapons of better technology but still the support of the now Nazi Germany they still ended up taking the capital and forcing the Abyssinian government and emperor into exile but the Italians continued to face both passive and aggressive resistance from the Abyssinian people as the Emperor refused to sign an armastice or peace treaty.

The 2nd French colonial empire had not developed much on after their victory in WW1 and were still not using radio or more advanced systems to communicate along vast distances. Leaving them fragile to poor maneuvers and tactics in another war. But Germany was rapidly expanding its technological capabilities as new faster and more efficient tanks had came out as Panzers Mark I, II and III were developed with strong iron shells against foreign armies that would have never seen it like that like never before. Also new rifles and machine guns meaning LMG HMG and MMG's were being produced alongside a new semi automatic rifle being produced with a good sniper and SMG rifles aswell. Which none of the Allies except American had been producing which was the M1 Garand which started its production in 1937 and onwards.

Britain after her colonial empire peaked in 1920 had lost a few of her colonies like Egypt but could still maneuver troops and trade through them aswell its trade was its entire economic income but the Nazis just done money printing to save time later without raising the prices so the economy of the nation could remain stable unlike what it was in 1923. And America in the 1930's had suffered one of the worst economic crises in history as of the great depression which was caused by the short lived economic boom and the excessive and repetitive droughts in the Southwest causing what was known to be the dust bowl which was just a giant plain of dry soil that caused dust storms during strong wind.

The Soviet military after suffering its loss against Poland in 1921 decided that rapid militarization was the best idea and became the 2nd most powerful country in the world because if its sheer man power and rich resourceful lands like the Caucasus and the European plain for farming and easy trading along the Soviet border with a giant cold winter forest Siberia to the east protecting them greatly. And also had both the largest land mass in the world and largest population size if all countries put together combined.

In East asia The republic if China had suffered poverty, famine, massacres, civil war and recessions one after the other and Japan took advantage of its weaknesses and took the major north eastern province of China, Manchuria
in 1931 and the Chinese government full well knowing they would not be able to fight such a military force as a weak, untrained and poorly equipped army decided that it wasnt needed. But after the Marcpolo bridge incident a full scale invasion of China was planned and the Chinese military put up heavy resistance against the Japanese forces but they had larger manpower but not modern enough equipment nor well trained personnel. The Japanese eventually took the major cities of Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing but one of the most important cities to the Chinese was Wuhan which must be defended at all costs for the nation.
The Republicans enemies were the CCP which was a Chinese communist group that they were in a civil war with in the 1920's but put their differences aside to team up and beat the foreign invaders out of the Chinese homeland for years. They the CCP mined the railways to disrupt the Japanese supply line but also done guerilla warfare tactics behind enemy lines which were costly but very well worth it as the Japanese military tried to clean up revolt after revolt in 1937 which wasted many Japanese troops that could have been used on the frontlines against China.

Nazi Germany had taken various proportions of Europe and had taken and annexed both Austria and Czechoslovakia in 1938 after a peace agreement between the Allies and Germany but Hitler wanted to expand further east to reunite and restablish land connection with East Prussia but in the way was Poland with the Polish corridor and Danzig so Hitler knew that war would be imminent against Britain and France if they invaded Poland.
