We can now find the war taking a massive turn in all locations possible and would start to be the peak power of the Axis powers. As both major defeats and victories would happen in this year and would also he the bloodshed year of the USSR as millions would die...

In North Africa Italy who had suffered a major defeat as they lost 150,000 men to British commonwealth forces. And Hitler not too pleased with the defeat but after supplying troops to North Africa they then pushed Britain back towards the Nile river but were halted again as troops of the French resistance had arrived to help Britain and her commonwealth defeat Germany and Italy. Soon they were pushed back again and were forced to regroup and recounterattack against Britain and France. Soon the Germans and Italians gathered more men and resources and counter attacked the Allies where they pushed them so far back that they were pushed nearly to the Nile river to the outskirts of a town called El l Amain where two battles proceeded to happen as Britain sent its largest armoured force ever of 2500 tanks of all sizes and power where both the Commonwealth forces held the German and Italians off eventually defeating them in the 2nd battle if El l Amain and Hitler now running dry on oil he called off the attack to his favourite commander Erwin Rommel where he placed him on the Northen French coast to harden the defences of the Atlantic wall all across from France to the top of Norway.

Hitler wanting his plan to work against the USSR by taking the Caucasian region by force explained in the previous chapter by taking their natural resources and supplies. So by the time winter had cleared up in April 1942 he launched his counterattack against the USSR and began his invasion of the Caucasus where he began to seize the factories and all Soviet produced products for himself and when doing so he took many of the major cities along with it but by the time the invasion had reached its peak the famous city Stalingrad was ready for battle as the German onslaught had taken the western part of the city and the island in the middle of the two rivers where the city was locked in a Stalemate for many months and aggressive counterattacks on both sides caused 600,000 people to be killed and another 1,500,000 men to be injured.

Again back to Asia Japan had taken and encircle many portions of China but they still continued to fight hard as they could but then Hirohito had taken Indo China from France after an agreement hand over then they conquered the Dutch East Indies, British Malayia, Hong Kong, Burma and half of New Guinea. And now the last major trading line for China was controlled by the Japanese and they could no longer supply China with the modern equipment they were lacking leaving them separated from the rest of the Allies. And now India was in trouble as the Japanese were right on their doorstep trying to hold them off. And Northern Australia was of threat as Japan sent bombing raids to take out major cities in the north by still with the damage done Australia still holded up tough resistance. But the Emperor of Japan Hirohito decided that since the previous Pearl harbour attack was successful in 1941 he tried again but this time by taking the small island of Midway as a military base for an attack on America later on but that would fail as nearly the entire Japanese navy was destroyed by the larger and better equipped US navy as they were expecting the attack earlier on after Pearl Harbour and almost all of the Japanese aircraft carriers were sunk and it would be a battle the Japanese would never recover from ever.

The Germans would officially rank the most powerful military by this point and they would be followed as of the current ranking below...

1st: Nazi Germany
2nd: Soviet union
3rd: America
4th: Britain
5th: Japan
6th: Italy
7th: China
8th: Hungary
9th: Romania
10th: Bulgaria

However now the Japanese suffering their defeat against America they would no longer be able to defend their empire on the shores and their entire military success was based on speed instead of power and eventually power would ruin them in the end. As Germany had learnt how to do Nuclear reactions and they began to try and plan making a large weapon that would destroy the Allies if need be. But the Americans had spys collect data and information on the project so they could produce their own massive bomb to maybe stop Japan if they continue to not surrender and maybe Germany. Soon the code was cracked and they began to produce a large bomb which would become the Manhattan project with Oppenheimer as their director.

Back to the Eastern front Germany after being exhausted by the Caucasian invasion the Soviets had moved their factories east and produced better and more efficient equipment which was a new tank, the T-34 that was almost impossible to penetrate with anti armour rounds as the slanted armour plates gave strong protection in a layer of thick armour. And Germany began to lose air superiority in the eastern front as new Soviet aircraft knocked the Luftwaffe out of the air and when coming to the city of Stalingrad they encircled the city by giving Hitler a taste of their own medicine and seiged the city where the German and Romanian troops were trapped for many days until they had no choice but to surrender. Now with the German forces depleted in the Caucasus the Soviets began to push the Germans back showing that Hitlers invasion of the USSR was doomed to fail and would topple Hitler's regime.
